Although there are some crazy stories and controversy around Pokemon Go, I have been eager to create a service from this game, and now that Sythe has created this section I'm diving right in to it. Hashtag yolo.

I remember growing up playing pokemon over 15 years ago ago now, and the fact it is still around shows how special it has been from one generation to the next.

I will not deny there is no preparation here and I've dived right in, but my promise is that I will be one of the first to do this, and will ensure a fantastic service is built regardless of how much effort and failure it takes. That defines a serial entrepreneur like myself.

Pokémon go uses so little data that this is truly not an issue. I've been playing since release and only used like maybe 100mb of data.

 

Weird. The data seems to be a problem for a lot of other people.

 

Wasn't it the battery?

 

I've heard about both, quite honestly. I can attest to the battery getting drained like crazy, but apparently something with my data was going crazy for me because of it so I ultimately stopped playing the game. Apparently I used one and a half gigs of data within the first 3 or 4 days of the new month of my phone plan.

 

Those portable battery packs are quite useful and can be picked up fairly cheap now
