Sacred Clay Staff Question

Do you get double exp when using the melee element of the staff?

I know it uses charges

you do with sacred clay scimitar so it might be the same with the staff

 

Yes if you are wearing any peice of sacred clay equiptment, it doesnt matter if your using range, melee or mage, your still going to get double exp.
