Now, I don't follow basketball, is this harsh for the sport, or are all offensive tackled with a ruthless mindset?

It might just be me but I lisened the recording and it sounded more like a jealous man telling his mistress to stop hanging out with other men in public places. Looks like a trap.

It's absolutely appalling that this is newsworthy whatsoever. First of all, this was a PRIVATE conversation between two people. He didn't walk out on the court before a game and start spewing hate speech. Go and listen to the recording yourself - all he did was tell his girlfriend to stop publicizing her relationships with black guys all over instagram - which is a completely sane thing for a person to say. Just typical media race-baiting, and they did it at the expense of this guy's reputation.

 

Him being a public figure and all really shouldn't have said what he said... but at the end of the day he's got more money then he knows what to do with and when you got that kind of cash honestly you can say what ever you wanna say.

No, it's exactly the opposite. You CAN'T say whatever you want if you are white and rich. If you are poor, no one cares if you say things that are not politically correct. I could tattoo a swastika on my forehead, and it wouldn't make global news because I'm broke - but if this guy did, the entire media would have a come-apart.

 

It's on the record that he is a bigot from past experiences. Good riddance, we don't need these kind of people around society.

 

Someone is going to just clip him, find him dead one day.. Well deserved, though.
