First of all I'm leecher on this forum, but only with 1 trade understand there are scammers everywhere, it doesn't depends on the forum rank, even people with rank "Forum Addict" are doing sh**s.

2 days ago I made a deal for trading US 60day Gamecard for 35$ (I was giving the card for cash). Me and the buyer meet in MSN. He was in hurry and wanted to receive the key. He didn't even asked about my PayPal account(where he was supposed to send the $). I told him my PayPal account and then wrote him the key(he didn't want picture of the card). After 4-5min he told me that is not working(enough time to activate it on one account and then REactivated on other account). To prove it that is not working he send me this picture:
PICTURE1 -> I can't see on it any subscription or gametime or anything, even on this picture is possible to activate once the key and then second time and take picture of the second time when it says that is used... after that he went fast to work and told me that he will respond in 4-5h. Then today (after 2-3days) I send him PM from this forum and he came in MSN. And he still refuses to tell the truth. I am 1000% sure that the card was BRAND NEW. When we first meet at MSN(to do the deal)and he told me to give him the key, I scratched(erased) the card to see the code, so I know it's new....Today he send me this picture:

The account is still frozen, but it's not the right account, it is some other account which is really frozen... and probably he's main is playable now

On the second picture it can be seen that "Last Login" is January 17, 2009. Can someone explain to me how 1 man who visit this forum,
offers WoW gold -> LINK1
offers WoW service -> LINK2
buy WoW gamecards and other WoW Cards -> LINK3
IS NOT PLAYING FROM 17 JANUARY? And he is telling me that this is his only account... I can't belive it. How it's possible to have 1 frozen account and sell gold??

My opinion is that when he saw that I'm a new member(leecher) he decided to cheat me.
SO it's your decision... To belive and trust him or not. I won't do it anymore. And probably I won't sell/buy anything to/from forums. Most members count how much good and bad trades they have(they write it in the their signatures). Almost everywhere I see the good and bad trades are equal.

I did same mistake as you on my first trade.And on few other trades too.
BTW:Write to blizzard that your code was alerady used when you tried to and give them all info they need.Even if you don't get your key back,the scammer will loose his gametime.

 

As you can see I wrote "Almost" about the bad/good trades. What information should I give? The key and probably the account... anything else?

 

Well, if you've still got the recite you could always contact billing support?

Or even like take a scan/picture of the card+recite, and say that it isn't working, even though you recently bought it.

Meaning, they should deactivate(maybe even ban) the person that some how managed to get a hold of a key he shouldn't be having.

 

Agreed to post above,if you have proof that you bought it they should deactivate it.
