"Secret" Infraction

It was Verts who gave it to me, yet I recieved no PM or notification of any kind except from when I accidentally viewed my profile.
Verts, could you please have told me? Thanks.

Also, I am not arguing with the infraction, but I do think it was a bit harsh. Other people were accusing the thread owner of attempted scamming too.

NOTE: This is not a dispute, just my opinion!

I think you get a PM when you get one or you are supposed to? And I would never PM people personally... Takes way too long...

Yes it sends it automatically but lately they haven't, so an admin may have changed it. You can pick in the admin cp etc.

 

I've never been infracted, so I wouldn't know. I assumed that you did...

 

I've been a mod on plenty of sites haha. And am currently admin in one, take a guess ohshi-

But yea anyway it does automatically send the user a PM with the reason why. If you've ever infracted anyone you'll see two fields.

and the message to user

The admin thing is what shows up on the thread about the infraction, so other staff can see the reason behind it.

The message to user is what the user gets along with the usual stuff.

 

Sometimes there isn't enough time to send a PM. You found it just now, so I don't really think it's very secret.
