is there a way to unlink your e-mail to your xbox live gamertag?

some guy did scam my account once and he did remove my gamertag from my e-mail.

 

yes there is. i can teach you if you like, but i might charge a little sumtin cuz it takes a while. my cousin works for xbox and some stupid fuck took my gamertag and changed the email associated with it. i called my cousin and he tought me how to get a stolen account back and how to unlink an email from a gamertag

 

Well Microsofy recently added the option to change the Windows Live ID associated with the account basically just changing the email the gamertag is linked to. However you are only allowed to do this every 30 days. To do it what you do is sign into the account, go to Account Management and there will be an option to change your Windows Live ID. You must have a replacement email already made to switch to.

is the on xbox.om or the xbox dashboard itself? because im on the website and theres no option like that.

 

You have to do it on the xbox 360 dashboard. I unlinked one of my accounts because i wanted to sell it and that was the only way to do it
