How to write an informative piece of text.

Introduction.​

When writing, especially on a forum, it is sometimes hard to work out what someone is trying to say to us, either by gramatical errors or just poorly written text. This guide will hopefully try to help you write better body's of text, essays and such, as you should be more capable at getting your points, opinions and ideas across to the reader.

[1.0] Opinions.​

When trying to write a speech, essay or just a small paragraph that involves two or more different points of view, it is very important that you make a clear difference between the opinions so that readers to not become confused, though the speech must still flow smoothly. Connective words are the easiest to use technique when trying to write an essay with two opposing opinions, because these are used to make the text transcend nicely yet still mark a clear place in the text where one opinion ends and another begins. The most common words to use would be:

1. On the other hand, Ex: "Some people love chocolate, but on the other hand some people do not."
2. Consequently, Ex: "Certain people agree with abortion but consquently, others disagree."
3. Similarly. Ex: "Similarly, I also have a different opinion on the death penalty."

These are just a few words that you can use to make the understanding of the opinions in your writing easier for the reader.

[2.0] Presenting Ideas.​

When you are trying to present a new idea to a group of people, you want to give it to them in such a way that they can easily understand it, remember it and discuss it without to much hassle.

You should first tell exactly what your idea is and what its aim is. For example, if I was trying to get my company to build a new type of electronic cat flap I would say "I have had an idea of automatic cat flap, one that will open automatically when a cat comes near. The aim of this is so that it is easier for elderly cats to get inside and out of the house aswell stopping the cat flap banging in the wind and creating noise."

You will see there that I have listed an aim and an advantage. The aim being to allow elderly cats to get into and out of a house more easily and the advantage being that it would stop the cat flap from creating unwanted noise. Now, even if there are more than one aim or advantage, it is best to only list one or two in your "opening statement" so that you do not baffle your audience too early on.

[3.0] The Writing Of Your Text.​

When writing, you should make sure that you use paragraphs so that your text appears in a nice, easy to understand, 1, 2, 3 order.
This makes it easier to read to an audience or for a reader to understand. Font size is also important, somewhere between 14-18 is good because it is not too small so that you cannot read it but is not too large so that it takes up alot of page space.

Also, try reading it to yourself or to someone else so that you can make sure that it is easy to understand.

[4.0] Conclusion.​
