its in my sig right now.. what do you guys think?.

It's okay , the border and the text kill it though , don't use 1px borders :\ , try burning the edges a bit for more focal ,

 

That's more of a 3 or 4px border (on his signature). 1px borders are the way to go, if not, no border at all. Or do the 2 - 5px top and bottom border, those look cool at times.

 

wow. that is probably the best simple sig I have seen for a while. Is the background just a C4D or brushes?

 

Honestly, I don't like borders at all, make it smaller. The text looks strange also. Also, I can still tell you used an apophysis render in the background, mess with some blending layers.

Make sure that the actual 'render', is the main vocal point for, us, the 'viewers'.

On the other hand, it will pass as an, 'simple signature'.

As for the sig on this topic, It looks pretty nice. I think you should have picked a darker bg color. It has some negative space which removes my eyes from the focal. But overall it's all good .
