Well its true there are alot of useless threads, those "Omg my Gf left me" those little E-Fantasies.. also TBh I dont see much moderation going on in this section.

But its not me to judge how things are run.

Then do something about them? Its obvious the current infractions mean nothing to people, so maybe a step up on the punishment?

He's a moderator of the RuneScape section,
not the Offtopic/General etc.

 

I am not telling you to mod the off topic. I am telling you that since you are a mod, and the average member is not listened to, that maybe you should suggest to an admin harsher punishments?

Maybe they should just make a topic lock for the key words;

"Omg my Gf left me"
"my dad died"
"I hate my life"
"my dog died"
"I lost 15 pounds"

I can go on all day with these, just attention whores who put spam on the forums. And mods don't remove them till 4 months after there up.

 

Oh a little spam isn't going to kill us nor is it that unpleasant.
