Need help with my graphics card

Well im running a Dell Dimension E310 ,Windows XP Home Edition SP2, I recently reinstalled the OS because it used to be Windows XP windows media center edition and the graphics card worked fine, but now this is all that shows up when I try to look for the graphic card
and I looked through the internet and found out that VGASAVE comes witht he computer and its when your graphic card isnt working properly and some people told me to open up my computer and to take the card thing off and put it back in so I did and I took out some type of graphic card looking thing that was here then I put it back in but it still says that it doesnt work.


I need someone to help me with this because now I cant play GTA:San andreas or runescape HD anymore and my other games.

Are you sure you have a graphics card, not onboard graphics? It looks like you have onboard graphics as you have the blue vga socket on your motherboard. In that case I think you should look for drivers on the dell website or the website of the company that made the graphics (nvidia or ati). Also can you take a picture of what you removed in the PCI socket? I'm pretty sure that was a 56k modem or LAN. Your motherboard doesn't have a Pci-express socket or a Agp socket so if you had a graphics card it would have to be a pci one, and I dont think they are good enough to run GTA :SA or Runescape HD.

 

You took out the motherboard...? Okay.... anyway, try taking a picture of the graphics card, so we can see what it looks like, it's a pci.. yea, there are lots of pci cards, they can run GTA SA, I believe. You can also just check the graphics card, to see if there's something on it.. usually it'll have the model on it.

 

someone on another website alredy solved my problem and all I had to do is go to dell and download all the drivers and now runescape HD and sanandreas works fine
