Am I the only person here who can't stand family who marry into the family and always have these stories that try 1-up you?

ex:

me: I saw this great movie yesterday
the bitch: I was in that movie

Like for example, he said this ?:

Ime: I saw this great movie yesterday ---- Him trying to start a conversation.
the bitch: I was in that movie -- Her obviously trying to tell a better story than him. I mean, whats better than seeing a movie? Being in it.
