best weapon

Are godswords the best weapon in runescape? if so please say why? and if not what is and why is it the best.

 

d claws ... cause they own

 

I would say the Armadyl Godsword and Dragon Claws are the two best weapons in the game. They're power is amazing, but keep in mind that the Dragon Claws are mostly useful in only their spec. Perhaps an Armadyl GS and Dragon Claw combination would be absolutely deadly if used properly.

 

The most important part is knowing how to use that weapon... A noob handling an AGS, could loose to a dude with a dragon long (i once killed an AGSer by using full verac, he was 20 cb lvls higher.)
Still God Swords provide an excellent strength bonus, which really helps wipping hp.
As to Dragon Claws... 2 Options: Buy them as fast as possible, pk with them and then sell them.
Or wait for a nerf, then buy them.

In my opinion, full verac's combined with sgs is the combo that works best for me in PvP (100m+ done in my pker)

 

do the claws or the godswords require certain def lvs or just the att lvs

 

depends on how you use the weap, gs's are no good for training.

so it just depends on training wise aswell as pk/boss killing wise too. the most common of these would be the 'whip'.

seeing as the whip is well rounded, apart from str exp, itd be in the top 3 weaps. for pking then a ags/d claws would prob be best.

for str exp wud be ss, although u cant use a shield slot item then. so either thtat or a dscim

 

D Claws are really only good for PvP. So if you are interested in PvP that is what you would want to aim for (of course if your a strength account not range)

Armadyl Godsword is hands down the second best weapon in the game for the damage it does and its two specs. Good for god wars and other things.

 

so overall the best pvp weapon seems to be d claws?
