Time to ban scammers!

Although this doesn't happen regularly this few weeks it has taken way more then normal to take care of them. What usually has taken 2 days max is now taking almost 2 weeks (there are 2 weeks old reports in there). I believe it is a priority to ban scammers before they scam someone again. Please take care of that.

I've talked with the guy that "scammed" you.
He canceled the claim. So there's no scam anymore?

 

I'm not actually worried about that. I made another scammer report around 5/6 days ago (maybe a little less) and still no ban or answer was made. There are threads that are 2 weeks old and haven't been answered yet.

PS: If the claim is canceled I will take the scammer report as I haven't been scammed.

I've reported a guy one time, and it was moved to the archives without any posts from a admin/moderator.
So I've reported him again, still nothing.

I think that there should be created a new "usergroup" called
Scammers Accusations helper. People who posted clear proof,
could get helped earlier then.

 

i was about to post same thing, theyll instantly temp ban anyone, even for stuff that they haven't done. but dishonest people, get reported with proof, and it takes day, even weeks for the lazy losers, aka mods, to ban them, it's pathetic.

 

I'm sorry for my inactivity in that section. I have been pounded with school work, getting ready to move, and internet problems. This puts a toll on my online time to only trying to get my section cleaned up. I will try to do the best I can this weekend.

I feel like it is less scammers on sythe than earlier, is this true. Or is it only me getting more trusted.

 

In my opinion, as long as you create a thread on the person that's all that matters. Back when I used to do trades, I always searched the database for information on the people I'm trading with.

Every once and awhile I'd find a report on the user(s). The report may not have been actioned, but I could be my own judge.

 

Yea before you trade anyone search the user and check the threads.

The mods get busy whether it be In real life or on these forums. I am sure they try their best to get everything done. But Irl issures are more important.

It's true. Still sometimes it takes too much time (in the previous weeks it has taken way too much time). I would say that 1 week is a reasonable time to be answered. 3 weeks it's too much.

Oh well, thats more than 2 weeks old, I got scammed and told mods about it..etc, nothing happened. Concrete proof aswell. Now though, I honestly don't give a shit, if he scams someone else then i'll be happy;nothings being done..whether mods are busy or something, they just dont seem to care anymore..

Ibuygold even had the nerve to report me for spamming on his thread, when I said scammer and posted my report thread....Cfrey obviously didnt look at my report thread and nothing happens to Ibuygold, just to me....

 

We need either more mods in that section or better ones.

Yes, but as mods/admins on this site it is their job to keep the forums clean, so they should most certainly find time to do it. Otherwise, they wouldn't be fit for that rank.
