What Do You Study In School/College?

Well, i don't about you guys (i assume most of you are american, i'm English :p) but in England, we get to choose our classes when we're in year 9 (for GCSE's) and if we decide to go to college we also have to choose some more subjects (obviously :p).
Anyway, i'm just wondering what everyone else took as their options, i personally, took the following:
For GCSEs i chose IT, business studies, geography and electronics.
For A-levels i took up maths, biology, IT and CISCO (computer networking).

I also took physics, but it left me with no time for enjoyment, it was turning me emo for goodness sake! I didn't even have time to even eat  so i dropped physics, the teacher was awful!

    Anyway, thanks for replies!

What Do You Study In School/College?

    You're going to do 6 subjects for A-level? o_O
I struggled with 5 lol, good luck though, it'll pay if if you stick to it :)
Although, my friend said that, if you're planning to go to university, they only get your best 3 results. So 3 can sometimes be a better option as you can concentrate fully on three subjects and revise more efficiently for them and perform better as a result. Although, my friend is an idiot  I'd check first, but cba :p

Maths and english are good subjects to take :) You must be pretty smart. Personally i have an IQ of 159 which i do believe is only one less than none-other than Albert Einstein himself!

Desir0, you chose exactly the same as me at the start of my year 12, but i dropped physics and took up CISCO instead (good decision on my behalf if you don't mind me saying). I got 100% on my physics paper for GCSE, but our level was crap, i knew more than her and she wouldn't listen to my reasoning when i proved her wrong in class, so i dropped it. I can't be bothered with dumbasses like her, plus she talks like she's just watched wallpaper dry in the houses of parliament for the past 7 years.

I had better be quiet now, even talking about er makes me angry

Russian is a sparse subject, very nice!

What Do You Study In School/College?

    Mathematics B
    Mathematics C
    Japanese
    Physics
    Chemistry

I was going to choose the IT courses, but I already knew everything as outlined on the choice form/booklet, so I chose my next priority which was Chemistry.

So you know, the difficulty of the courses is in ascending letters - Maths C is the hardest course offered.

I'm in England, we choose for GCSE (14-16) and then A-levels.

For GCSE I chose French, German, History, Geography, as well as all the ones you have to do like Maths, Sciences, etc.

And for A-levels I will be doing Maths, Physics, Chemistry and History.

I never ever considered doing an IT course ... the teachers are terrible at my school.

    Maths B/C eh?
Brief summary of them courses o_O

Im doing Further maths which is harder than normal maths (duh...) but in my school you cant do it unless you take maths... which is totally gay...

Very nice that you are learning Japanese, If I had a better brain capacity it would be my ultimate dream to learn jap fluently.

English is one subject at GCSE...
you actually get to choose between lit/lang? I got a A* on my Lang but a B on my Lit... lol. And they dont teach Lang in my school saying Lit is the only course... hmmpgh you sure, or is my school fucked?

What Do You Study In School/College?

Nah, its the same at my school, language and literature are completely different (in a sense). My friend opted to take literature because he wants to be a journalist. I chose maths/IT/CISCO for my future job, playing with computers :D
Biology was just there because i got like 95% in the test, i got an A* in geography which was apprently the best in the school, but i didn't like geography, it used to interest me until they brought all the human geography into the mix =|

What Do You Study In School/College?

In Australia, QLD. We have 4 Math courses. Maths Common, Maths A, Maths B & Maths C.

Maths Common is for the simple kids (Special Ed). The tests are honestly questions like:
If you had 5 apples and sold 2, how many apples would you have?
That subject doesn't count towards your OP. (OP is what gets you into University).

Maths A pretty simple as well, anyone who doesn't have a disability should be able to pass it. This subject counts towards your OP.

Maths B & C are pretty imvolved maths subjects you need to have a decent brain to get high grades in these subjects and most people also do Physics along side these.
