    Looks like a Paypal hold (Arashi did not place it, Paypal did). This happened to a bunch of us back in March. Legitimate buyers had their GIFT PAYMENTS reversed. Luckily it all worked out between us all six months later when our funds were released.

    This is why you should not send or receive gift payments, because this absolutely will happen to your account, and others tied to your account, if you abuse them. Take goods/services - Paypal gets their fee, and won't bother you.

    Basically paypal matched him up and caught him for money laundering.

    Depending on the legitimacy of the information he provided for the accounts and whether or not he can get them unlimited (after they limit BOTH accounts permanently) and those payments therefore can not be resent, and if they feel the need to "de-authorize them" and return funds to his accounts rather than moving them back to you, he has no way of getting his money out.

    tl;dr, paypal's a lot smarter than you think, and don't break the law.

    They will perm limit it after they finish the investigation unless you can unlimit any accounts connected to you before they limit both accounts.

    The reason: you most likely are in the red on one of your accounts, they want their money.
