Huh, perhaps he forgot about it. His mod rank is still up, is his ban perm confirmed? Or is it still being double checked?

 

Self vouching is a 3 month ban, if I remember correctly. It isn't perm.

It is a dispute, not pardon. You can only get pardoned once every 6 months I believe.

He came out and admitted to scamming 8 dollars in the past. He got pardoned for his offense.

The biggest and most important thing rules are against is scamming, or the involvement on actions that can lead to it, or just creating fake reputation.

Don't ever say that again.

 

In my opinion he should stay banned. Scamming and self-vouching in the past goes a little bit to far. I'd say he should be banned, or be unbanned but never get a mod status again. He is just not trustworthy.

 

a scam is a scam. If its 8$ or 80000$....its against the rules. Scamming is scamming. Once a scammer always a scammer! If he thinks he can get away with 8$ who knows what else he thinks he can get away with

 

I agree with this 100%. Just because they had higher authority than most scammers, doesn't mean they have the right to be un-banned. Hell if they are going to give Wulf and Nano a break, might as well unban every Sythe member who has scammed under $200 or less, in my opinion they should have stayed banned like everyone else. I have nothing against them and they seem like nice guys, but rules are rules.

 

This is the 2nd time he has been demoted, i would say the staff need to reconsider their policy of re-premoting staff members who have been demoted just because they think they have the experience others dont.

 

Perhaps you don't understand why the High Pardon system is in place, to give members that have contributed inordinately another chance NOT a clean slate.

They got no special treatment whatsoever; though clearly their former mod ship would be taken favourably into consideration during a pardon. They were banned as due process, scammers are banned. They posted a High Pardon as all scammers are entitled to (some exceptions). They got their pardon accepted, which most people fail to. If you want to place the blame on anyone place it on the people who approved their pardon, not them for following due process after a slip-up.
