Was wondering how many of you know about the following, also if you think you have something I don't know or perhaps I forgot about, post it.


Purple/Pink partyhats were duped in RS classic (main reason why they are cheapest, other than the ghey color)

You could create Shemales/Bearded females on RS classic(I made one, used to go around with a bronze full helm on, going around asking random people to be my BF then I would just take it off, lol)

RS2 came out officialy everyones happy... !omg killer imps, basically everytime you killed an imp 2 spawn, kill those 2, 4 spawn ...etc(havent experienced this one personally, need someone to verify)

You were able to get out of castle wars waiting area as the animal you transformed into(was fun, forgot how it was done though)

alot of dueling glitches(one I can remember was you could move in a non-movement duel)

force teleport with POH's(you could teleport out of anywhere, includes duel arenas, high level wildernes, ANYTHING)

santas were 250K, phats, around 15-40 mil , mask sets were 1mil each. good days

a guy got like 75 to 95 mage in about instantly(smuggled cash into the magic minigame place and exchanged the GP for xp, never used the place forgive me)

Level 80 charge spell didint have a limit of usage(the lvl 80 spell gives you about 90 XP each cast, it used to have no limit and no waiting, you gained the xp as fast as you could mouse click, after jagex put a limit there was a glitch where the spell was limitless in the castlewarshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqzZ_Qsw7RE)

6/6/6 Falador massacre/kill players outside of wilderness - on 6/6/6 people were getting killed in falador, I believe this is half true, yes you could kill people outside of wilderness, but you had to do a couple of things to gain that, it had something to do with the fighting rings in POH's and a force teleport glitch, Im pretty sure you needed the victims to be in your house first.

there wasent such a thing as 'pure essence' at firstcant remember why they did that

full dharok and all of those types of armour (forgot what their called lol) didint break/deteriorate when they first came you could use them forever without fixing.

9 hp accounts existthis is a "DUH" in this forum i know, but they were a result of transferring from classic to RS2.

you used to be able to trade with game moderators, like jagex mods not the normal onesI believe now when you try trading it wont allow you, I dont know if they do it now but I remember jagex mods used to come online wearing full dragon while being level 1, they can spawn items to their inventory and basically are in god mode, I wont be surprised if people who had jagex mods didint take advantage of that and got some of them to give them something

i knew almost everything except the imp thing. i remember when i first started playing, i got lured into the wild and ended up killing the other player. he lost his mithril and begged for it back. ever since then i lured all the time...
remember when 1m was actually a good amount of cash?
remember when people actually knew what pures were?
remember pking in classic? always trying to grab 3 hit k0's before your opponent could run..

I don't know about the imp thing or the charge spell but the others are true, I had done most of them and I knew 2 or 3 people who smuggled gp into mta.

 

The chare spell thing wasent actualy a glitch, just jagex didint think that players would b rich enough to waste so much money lol

edit: the castle wars thing was a glitch actualy, after jagex put a limit on charge there was a glitch where you could do it limitless in castle wars.

 

Anyone care to explain how the MTA thing worked? That's about the only one I've never heard of.

I miss when you could buy bow strings/yew logs + nats, fletch into yew longs, alch and actually MAKE money. Not like these days when you just lose money.

I miss when there was no 'pure essence', there was just normal essence, and if you tried to buy it for 10gp each for it, you were considered rich and would have people lined up to try to sell it to you. People would merchant it buying for like 6gp each and selling for around 8gp each.

lol I dont know :S, I assume you mean smuggle money in the magic minigame, maybe they alched something, I have no idea.

 

You would smuggle money into the alching game then deposit into the deposit box, the deposit box gives you xp based on how much money you deposit, so they would deposit a lot of gp and get a lot of gp.

 

I wasn't playing RuneScape that early, I started RuneScape in 2005, ahh.. the good old days, pking, no trade limits, people spamming in banks... hmmm...

Dang I played when phats were 10 mil and santa's were crap. Dang it!!!!

 

untrue, I owned a 9 HP account, (got banned though) I never botted/glitched with it.

 

The 9 hp was when you started the game, the EXP was less then it was for 10. So when they changed the EXP they became lvl 9 hp.

Don't know if that is exactly how it went but that's the best explanation.
