Thanks

Lately I have been browsing around all sorts of forums, currently running into sythe (which I am liking, tbh)
Although I have just joined the forums 10 minutes ago, I figured that this would be a great addition, noting that you guys have a user education team and lots of places for guides and tutorials!

So the suggestion....

On a few of the forums I have visited, there was a button right next to the 'quote' button in which said "Thanks"

Right by the post count, there was a little thing that said Thanks: 100 (or however many people pressed the thanks button)

I am not real sure about the system behind, as in if you can press it more than once...

But I really do think that its cool, and it would be a great addition to Sythe.org!

 

Theres no point to it, you can basically tell who says thanks by the views + posts...

 

Views = popularity

Posts = nothing

A thanks is more special. Its like a trust thing too

 

What is the point? How will adding a "Thanks" button be beneficial to the community?

If you trust people based on how many people clicked a button, then you, sir, need a bit of learning to do.

and yet I don't.

I mean, it would be a great add-on and stuff. Say someone has 1,500 thanks

I bet you would have somewhat of trust for them

 

There's already a part on a thread in which you can Vote for its excellence.

The scale is rated from 0-5, and there is your "Thanks".
-Hardly anyone uses it, so a "Thanks" button is unnecessary. =]
