Does Jagex IP trace/ban?

Does anyone know,or have any past experiences, with Jagex banning one account for whatever reason (lets say botting) and then tracing your IP and banning your other accounts?

 

lol no that never happens they claim to "watch" all the other accounts on your IP more carefully but i wouldnt worry.

 

I hope they do. I use Hotspot Shield whenever I'm botting, so I have an excuse.

 

well i swear you can say its your brother or somthing like that they have no proff its u because you share the ip

 

Many people claim they do, but I highly doubt it because you can just say it's somebody else in your house or something, but that's what they claim.

they do keep track of your ip, and you can get ip banned if you bot and get banned like 100 times lol, its just very rare

 

Well it's a risk you take. Just train legit, and you won't have to worry.

 

They do in the more serious cases. They don't care as much as you think about bots who are nonmembers, or even botters that are members and have a legit CC. They look for stolen CC's and IP's tracked back to China.

Yes, they do. Depending on who you are and what you have done. Basically if your one of those underground market people who have 2147M all the rares you can imagine and they see your doing suspicious things, they would assume your a gold farmer. But in most cases they just go by the account.

 

Some people say they do. but I doubt it.
If they are going to ban an account it will be the one cheating, not all the accounts that belong to that same ip address
