Need a solution for my car at the parking lot!

Hi everyone, most of us have the habit of forgetting something particular all the time. I always end up forgetting my car at the parking lot. I am somewhat not comfortable in saying this, but yes, there have been many instances like this with me and I can’t help myself out. I do remember to carry my iPhone with me but am helpless on the issue of my car. There might be someone like me who can answer my problems as to what do they do or would hope some good suggestions from you people so that I can be comfortable when finding my car in the lot.

    Thanks in advance!

    1) Park near something distinct you can remember.
ex: Yellow post, large tree, etc.

    2) Remember the row you're in. Facing the parking lot from the entrance to wherever you're going remember you parked in the Nth row.
ex: 3rd row starting from the left, 2 row starting from the right

Are you saying that you can't find your car or you're forgetting that you just drove to wherever you are..?

Lol, at first I thought it was a "joke" thread.
About you forgetting to bring the car with you.

I literally almost barfed after reading this and I don't know why.

You're saying you can't find your car when you park it in some huge parking lot?

apparently... i saw this device which is like an antenna when u press a key attached to your keyring it pops up.
and theres also a sound thing.

get a gps tracker - attach it to your car - view through your ipod - sure something similar exists.

however -- your keys will get swiped... and possibilty of your car too :\

This is just a common problem, I don’t think that you need to feel awkward or anything like that. Like, I have a small problem of losing my watches…I just don’t understand where I loose them! But, anyways, as a solution to your problem, I would suggest the use of Car Spotter which is an easy-to-use vehicle locator that uses the iPhone's navigational GPS system. It is a great application especially for you as your problem will be totally solved and you would like its other features too.

Step 1: When you get out of your car, take a good look around.

Step 2: Slap the shit out of yourself.

Not even joking. Somatic sensations (pain) stimulate the release of epinephrine in the brain which assists in consolidation of memory events.

To be honest i've never had that problem. I just park my car, walk into the shops and then when i'm done shopping or w/e i was doing, i walk out through the same exit i came in by (sometimes i do pay attention to them in big shopping centres, i check what exit i came in by etc). And then from there i just think to myself "hmm ok what angle did i walk from when i got here?" (all this i just think automatically in a split second so i don't even realise) and so then i just walk in the exact direction i came in by. So yeah i find my car easy and i never pay attention to anything except occaisionally the exits.

I do kind've have a photographic memory though, i only have to glance at something and i can think back and remember all the details i picked up from that glance.

Honestly, if you cannot find your car in a parking lot, you should be ashamed of yourself.

It depends on how big the parking lot where you park is. If it's similar to Six Flags or something, then good luck. If it's a small place, find something visible near your car and remember it.
