Question about cs

first off i like to have the automatically switch to pick up gun(if more powerful) unchecked on cs 1.6. but also i like having white crosshairs. and whenever i go into options and uncheck the automatically switch it turns my crosshairs have to green.

does anyone know the command that i can put in console so that i dont have to go into options to uncheck that box???????? i thought it would be like cl_ something but couldnt figure it out.

i tried to bind cl_crosshair_color to a key so i wouldnt have to type it but that didnt work lol.



someone please know how to do it!!!!

Strange it should work just by changing it but white cross hairs arent recomended. They get anoying if your aiming at a T wearing "arctic"...
Try making the option change then reloading steam.

white cross hairs are 255 555 555 but thats not answering my question. i know how to do that and white cross hairs dont annoy me cause i do use minmodels 1 lol

Yah first type "bind cl_crosshair_color 255 255 255" "." (. can be any key you wana use) So that when you change setting..just hit . to fix your crosshair...its the only way to fix it..I had the same problem

there shouldnt be a problem, unless you edit something on your userconfig.cfg which affects that setting which i cant remember what it was. or you might use a GUI where the CVAR restricted u in changing it.
