Transfering items

Does this method work for transfering items between accounts?

Buying an easter egg or mask or w/e then selling it ina shop for 2gp or something an buying it on the account you want to transfer to

Because it seems to simple to work

I know I have one post, I had another account but forgot the password or username or something

I'm pretty sure it never worked, and if it did, it was not long lasting. I tried to do that same thing, just with a different item a while ago, and it did not work. I suggest you transfer using the Bounty Hunter method.

 

i wish it still worked... i learned it the hard way like a day after it wa patched.

 

it worked when the trade limit was around, but most people just traded the GP.

Btw what would happen with easter egg? You sell it too general shop and it won't appear there?

 

it would appear but it would be 8m and it would be gone witht he next update/patch

I learned that the hard way aswell, was trying to transfer a robin hat [When It was about 4m], sold to a general store, tried to buy back and bam, my 4m was gone just like that. Stupid Jagex.

Yeah suppose you sell a phat for 5 gp when you try to buy it would be how much it's worth in ge.

 

yeah somebody will just buy after one second, you will never get enough time going there. sorry.
