help a friend in need! They won't give me the UE bar because of this:

Just because my brother and I have the same IP's they automatically assume that i made another account and comment on my own UE app. I didn't. My brother Kyle posted that he liked my app and said good luck and because they found two accs with the same IP addresses they wont give me the User Educator Bar under my name.

My brother and I. Our parents are seperated and we have two houses. Moms and Dads. We rotate days going to each House. I use the computer for set amount of time. I go on then he does. His account is Im Lagged Up and Mine Is GamerPaladin332. These are the only accounts used on the two IP adresses. If you see we use a third one that is the public library. Many people use those computers so other people may have sythe accounts.

Please reconsider giving me the UE bar.

How? people do different things on different accounts. Why would we share one????? He likes more Wow and signatures... I'm RS and main games. Two different personalities. That won't mix on one account.

Please I really want to be UE. I was accepted but then deined?

 

It doesn't matter, you are not allowed to have two accounts on the same IP.
It doesn't matter what your interests are. And just by reading this thread
the only reason you want UE is for rank.

 

Again, like I've said in your other thread, it doesn't prove that your brother posted that. Just because I have a friend over and he registers and scams under my IP it doesn't justify it by taking a picture to prove he's at my house. It just doesn't work that way.

A few things...

JP, you're allowed to have multiple accounts on a few conditions. One is that you never log into the other account.


So, here's my advice to you...

You won't get user educator, your brother screwed it up for you if your story is in fact true. The fact of the matter is, if there are two accounts in your household they should never have interacted. That right there is a big no-no.

Secondly, we don't like brother stories. I'd advise getting yours or your brother's account banned, and never going on it again. Simply because it can only cause problems for you in the future.

So no, you're not getting your rank because your brother posted, and I'd advise just dealing with that and keep writing guides.

In time, if they feel you're not a multi, they may change their mind, but there is no immediate fix for your problem.

 

How do I get his account banned?

I'd say banning is your best bet, as the account should never be logged into.

Regardless if it was him or his brother it should not matter, UE comments are not vouches therefore that shouldn't even be apart of rather he should get it or not, it is between the ue staff not everyone else if they deem it a worthy guide for acceptance Ie (it has good pictures and a good use of them, well written etc.) I don't see what his brother would have to do with there decision. I believe he should get it or the UE staff needs to change there way to get accepted because this sounds like a lot of bull shit.

An on top of all this the rule says and what mods etc. have said is that it is fine to have more than one account as long as you do not use it for self gain such as vouches to middleman your own trades etc. this has nothing to do with either for the reasons I stated above.

But I do agree having him and his brother on the same ip if it is his brother will only cause problems for one another.

As for the creator of the thread, don't think I am just sticking up for you. It shouldn't matter if you get the rank or not, it doesn't make you better than everyone else. If you're going to make a guide it should be to help other sythe members not to try and get famous and what not. you shouldn't complain over such a minuscule thing.

 

In my opinion I say he should get in, his guides where very well done.
He's always been curious about things and open minded for asking for things from myself. Although their is no proof that your brother did it I still demand you get your rank. The deal was give GREAT guides to become an UE, and you did that. Look what happened? We voted YES.

That's all I have to say.

 

For the short time I'm still moderator of this section. I say that you deserve your ranks. You seem motivated. But try convincing the other staff now.

I understand, my name is also Kyle (ironic lol), and my brother is Jeff (Slob_Smither), he shares an Ip with me. We do our best to stay away from eachother's threads... You should do the same.

 

He said he'll stay off his acc... It don't really matter.
