    Hung Parliament

So, Conservatives didn't reach the majority vote of over 325. Liberal democrats are considering forming the seats with conservatives to get majority. Last time there was a hung parliament was in 1974. My personal opinon is that Nick clegg will go along and form and get some of his polices out there. If they form who will be at number 10 Downing street? Who did everyone vote for, or who were you backing?

I really wanted Labour to win, but, I really doubt they will now. The Cons are definitely going to join with the Lib Dems. It really isn't going to effect me just yet, as I'm only 16, but in the future it will, I'm guessing..

When I am older, I'm probably going to vote BNP.

I've stopped watching it now, and I must of missed that. So, Cons want everyone to vote again?

Oh, when are they planning for that? I personally believe in lib dems. Their manifestos seem good. Plus they are giving students a lot of benefits, and at higher education as well.

Who did your city vote for? Labour held my city's seat, although I thought BNP would be close.

Conservative held mine. However, I would of thought liberal democrats would of came extreamly close, as I know a lot of people voted them also.

To be quite honest, I'm fed up of hearing about it all. It's been on the tele for the past 2 weeks, and it's on every channel, it's doing my head in. Cons held more seats, therefor they should be elected, simple.

Yes. But a law would never get passed. They need over half seats (325) so that a law could get passed and people vote for it. They can't govern without the majority.

But Cons have the majority of the seats, they have more, meaning they have the majority, surely?

Nope majority is irrelevent you need over half, they have 306. When passing a law, everyone in parliament could disagree making the system flawed. They would need another 20 for them to come in power and get things passed. That's why they want to pair up with liberal democrats since, they have 57. They just need 20 or so.

Politics is bullshit. Whoever wins there isn't going to be a significant change for us teenagers, so why we really worry about it. Funny how all the idiot's that actually thought BNP would make more than 10 seats..

Just the poor, uneducated northerners who vote for them.

If I could vote, I would of voted Labour.
Nick Clegg will most likely go back on his word and merge, or atleast attempt to merge with conservatives, which will result in a decrease in the popularity of the Lib Dems

Personally, I think Labour haven't got a chance now and Conservatives are going to win. I really hope they don't, but what can I do :/

    Why?

Also, I think it's a load of bs this election.
The parties should be working together, not against each other to run this country. It's a big mess.

Why would you vote BNP? Their policies are discriminatory and outdated. They would only take the country backwards.
