Does our donations go to maintaining the site? Or does it go into Sythe's pocket money?

Does anyone know how much it takes to maintain Sythe? Do the ads and our donations make up for the loss?

I would say most of it goes to maintaining thwe site and all the costs and he keeps the extra

 

My guess is that certain months the site supports itself, other times Sythe needs to reach into his own pocket.

 

I believe the ads pay for more than enough of the maintenance fee, and he pockets the rest. Not sure if it's true or not; you should check it up with someone else.

now dont hold me to this but i think i remember shredderbeam tellin me on msn that the ads pay for most of the site and all that and advertising on other sites but some of the donations go to hosting and all that. and some of the rest goes to matthew for helpin and the rest goes to sythe which is reasonable seeing as though he has put 1000s of hours into sythe

 

Sythe told me how much he makes a few months ago, but I'd like to keep that confidential.

If you really want to know why don't you research ad costs, average pageviews per day, and multiply?
