    Everybody's an Critic

Why do you want to critize an guide the proper way? The question truly is - why would you want to critize an guide based on fault judgement, and be called names for your misunderstanding? If you want to rate and critize an guide, maybe even throw in an helpful suggestion, and then become well known for your fair judgement, than this is exactly where to learn your facts. By learning how to correctly rate an guide, it also slightly shows you how to make an guide (how to make an guide so people can judge it off of what you learn here).

    Cleanliess, is next to godliness.

By "Cleanliness", I mean neatness. It counts, and usually it effects how well people can understand your ideas, and those who are rating your guide, usually look to understand it as simple as possible (it doesn't mean avoid big words, it means make those big words fit into simpler terms). Make sure you place your work all to the left/center/ or right. You want to make it look formal, and officent. The best way to make your guide neat, is using an spell-check at the end to make sure there is generally no mispelled words (I don't do that method myself, but it works great). Also, use as creative detail as you must.

    Summarize.

Why is an summary important? Well, usually guide-readers skim through the guide, and don't actually read it all through, because they find it un-interesting. The best idea, is to give an brief description of what your guide is about in the beginning, to interest the reader - you'll be generally told that in school during E.L.A (English Language Arts) sessions.

He gave you an brief description of what his guide is about, and what his subject is about. This, will eithier interest the reader, or thank the guide-maker for writing this to spare his time.

    Good Ol' Honest Abe.

No, I don't mean use Abraham Lincoln in your guides, I mean keep your guides TRUTHFUL, Honest Abe is just what I used to express it. Keeping your guide truthful, is extremely effective. As I quoted before, Linux said in his guide that the program he's discussing is the most popular Linux Distro around, it is eithier false or true, let somebody find that out - but if it's true, than that means people want to get it. If people find him false, but he's close to true (like his guide is the 2nd most popular, or the third most), it still means people will be interested, but if he lied completely, who would want an out-of-date unpopular Linux Distro?

    Photographs/Images are important.

To help express your guide subject, and to show your professionalism, use pictures. They are easy to find off google or some other popular search engine, and they help people understand. For example, I could sit here all day explaining to you how to throw an curveball, or I could show you an picture on how to do it, and than the alternative, Show an Picture AND include details! - now whats the obvious choice? I used pictures to express my general idea for each paragraph, letting you guys see some humorous photographs, and some photographs to make you ponder.

Runescape, Illegal Subjects, Recipes, Magic Tricks, Explosives, and Masturbation. No.

All of the above topics, aren't allowed to be used as guide topics.

The role of the UE : Education.

Don't post guides for an Rank, it's not the point of the UE Section. The UE was formed, in order to set an Curriculum for sythe - to prove that Sythe has intellegent Minds booming through it all day. Don't post an guide, to use it for your application, use it to help - and educate others. Everything I mentioned above will help you, hence you try to become an UE, but if you're doing it for the pure essence of education - don't mind anything that anybody says to you, because honestly - people are dumb.

    Just some minor grammar problems
It seems you use an instead of a for a lot of things.
    intelligent is spelled wrong
    you use unnecessary commas
    either is spelled wrong
    efficient is spelled wrong
    criticize is spelled wrong
    judgment is spelled wrong
    some examples:
    and don't need the comma.

Put it through microsoft word or download firefox before posting your guide so there aren't as many spelling mistakes.

Otherwise informative guide on the UE.
