Very nice mate.. i like the buttons make your self?

 

Make the start screen open the browser automatically if no activity is detected (clicks, not mouse movement). Aesthetics are important for a good application interface, which is why I credit you.

 

Where did you get the buttons? (or if you made them post links)

 

It's okay for a first try. Black was a bad color scheme to go with. It looks like you have two address bars. Help window text shouldn't be in textboxes. Start window has text over your design which makes it look bad. Icons are good but they are too light for the dark color scheme.

Don't let that discourage you though! Keep improving and you'll turn into a pro.
