My father has cancer.

Hello fellow members, I hope you are all doing well. I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but I wanted to stop by as a way to vent and seek help if anyone wants to or is able to provide it—although just having you read this is enough.
I remember trading here for a long time, but I never imagined I'd be posting about something I never expected to face.
My dad, my beloved dad, was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. The biopsy reads: Non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma, invasive.
My dad has a fighting chance, but in this country (Venezuela) everything is extremely complicated. There's so much paperwork, so many protocols, so many closed doors, and everything is incredibly expensive.
I've tried everything. The company I work for has a pathetic insurance plan that takes weeks just to approve a simple oncology consultation. Everything has to be paid out of pocket, and it has completely overwhelmed me.
My beloved father still wants to fight and looks optimistic despite the tumor growing behind his nose. I don't know what to say to him. It's deeply frustrating, and I truly understand anyone who has gone through this now.
We saw the radiation specialist, and they prescribed a therapy that costs $3,500, which will save my dad's life. This is combined with chemotherapy, just in case the tumor has spread to another part of the body (not confirmed yet). Getting this treatment started early is vital, but as I said, the company I work for is useless!!!
If it's worth anything, I've always worked and provided services here without scams or bad business practices. I emphasize this so I'm not mistaken for a common scammer; I am honest and I have all the documents to prove my story.
Any words of encouragement also help me a lot right now. I've been giving it my all for months, but this illness has completely worn me down. I feel overwhelmed and down. Thanks for reading, great Sythe community.
