    So i originally purchased an account from phantom OSRS's shop on the 2nd of FEB 2026 within a day the account was locked - i was told its because i logged into the game first before setting the email i paid 428m for the first account - i then went back to the discord because i noticed the account was gone from my email and they told me they'd sell me another account for 50% off.. so i paid another 212m so grand total 640m now the replacement account they gave me i started to work on it - transfered some gold to the account and started to play i work away from home i've logged on today gone to sign into RS to see the account is completly gone also.. so i checked the first account that was locked. The password is now saying incorrect, i do believe both of these accounts have been recovered.. Now i'm finding out They dont even own these accounts There selling accounts they dont own. its not posted in there terms of service i'm only now actually seeing the terms of service when i originally paid for these accounts i had no idea they didnt own them..

    I WAS NOT wanting a refund i've tried everything to contact these people about this sitatuion.. The main owner of the discord who originally sold me the first one has now deleted me off discord and hasn't spoken to me since the first issue, The person who set me up with the replacement account (altruistic_ uid 292013429902802944) is the only one who will reply to me.

    After i raised the complaint about the 1st account being taken from me he's not spoken to me since..

    now a simple chat with the person in his discord 'admin' who sold me the secound one instead of him helping me hes more interested in saying its my fault and im lying despite having all the proof yet he refuses to join the call and see the proof -

    No where in there terms of service did they one state they dont own these accounts they sell - And truthfully not once in our chat did anyone mention the terms of service i'm only now finding out about it and even in the terms of service it dont state they dont own the accounts either...

    Regarding us not owning the accounts:
    - We have never made any representations about original ownership. Customer asked in ticket if we are the OG owners of the account prior to purchase and was advised that we have owned the account from level 3. This was again asked by client in DM with Phantomsoldier after receiving account details for the first account - he again asked this 3 hours later in DM. So in total he was told 3 times we level the accounts from level 3 and are not the OG owners of the accounts. We purchased logins and TUTs from reputable sellers who have not reported any issues with recoveries. If this was a mass recovery operation, there would be many more reports of recoveries.

    Regarding Phantom deleting him:
    - “The main owner… deleted me and hasn’t spoken since.”: This was just an unfriending on Discord, not a block and no messages deleted in PM. This action was taken just in case he tries to use the Phantom name to fake affiliation with us with other sellers. He has now also been kicked from the server to prevent him from deleting messages and messaging anyone in our discord or typing things in the general chat.

    Regarding ToS:
    - Before joining our server, users are made to accept ToS prior to viewing channels and making tickets. Our ToS explicitly state "Phantom OSRS Accounts is not responsible for issues such as account recoveries, bans, hijacks, or unforeseen problems that may arise after the transaction is completed."

    Timeline of events and details:

    Date of First Purchase
    - The ticket was opened on February 14, 2026 at 10:50 AM. The first completed purchase occurred on February 14, 2026 at ~1:35 PM UK time NOT February the 2nd as customer states.

    Initial interaction:
    - States he wants an account for his “brother.”
    - States: “if he does want it he'll buy it through me” - indicating he is reselling the account to his brother.
    - Explicitly discusses botting and RWT concerns.
    - Is advised we have temp banned accounts for cheap but he states he would rather a clean account.
    - Chooses the $75 base 90 account (no black marks) unregistered legacy account with OG email that has not been created by us and is available for creation.
    - Pays 428M OSRS GP.
    - Is instructed to register email, change password, create the fake gmail (that hasn't been created before).
    - Later in DM with Phantomsoldier, the client asks again about OG ownership of the accounts. The client also talks about bot scripts he has: "ahh curious cause i got some legit game breaking scripts lol got the oath plate script, inferno and some toas".

    Feb 14, 2026 – First Account Lock
    - ~3:50 PM Customer reports: “the account got locked.” Says recovery emails are not being received.
    - Customer Admits: He originally registered it to his work email. Then created the “OG Gmail” later. States he logs into the game first, not the website. Then registers email afterward.
    - Direct qoutes where he accepts fault.: “i logged into the acc before i even reg'd it” “i skipped that part of the chat i wont lie” “i didnt even see that” “i mean its partly my fault cause i logged into the acc before i even reg'd it” “i didnt even see that” “im sorry again guys i really am”
    - Seller warns this can cause lock issues.
    - Discussion around getting the locked email taken place, the OG email account details provided by customer and there appears to be no emails regarding lock (could have been deleted), client states he didn't receive on the email he registered (his work email) either and this cannot be verified.

    Feb 15, 2026 – Replacement account
    - ~ 12:00am customer offered a 50% Discount on next account as a gesture of goodwill. Cost: 214M GP
    - Before sending details, seller explicitly instructs the customer again to login to create the OG email, login to osrs website, register email to the OG email and change pass, then login to game.
    - Customer then DM'd account details by Altruistic and again told to secure the account in steps. Customer immediately attempts to create/register Gmail but runs into phone-number verification issue.
    - Customer states: “isit ok if we keep these details in chat and do it in morning?"
    - 12:51 - customer confirms account is secured and all steps taken.
    - No further issues reported in transcript regarding this second account being locked or recovered.

    Feb 15-22, 2026 - Further communication and general discussion with Altruistic in DM
    - Customer: Jokes about runecrafting and that we don't "enjoy runecrafting" due to RC level being low.
    - Customer then admits to botting and talks about bot scripts for RC, specifically Wasp Scripts, and claims: "yh bro i got alot of the premium scripts, like agility, RC, Blood rc.. ive done 99 rc like 5 times on it lol". Also states: "i can technically send u the script its open source".
    - Customer then asks about new builds and additional purchases.

    Feb 25, 2026 -
    - Customer DM's Altruistic and reports the account has been recovered and there were multiple password recovery attempts.
    - The customer provided screenshots of a gmail account showing a password recovery attempt on the 23rd Feb and 4 other emails under this category which were not shown.
    - The screenshots of the email inbox only show password reset requests, nothing to do with recovery.
    - He was asked to show emails of the other password change requests as in the screenshot it shows 4 different password change attempts - he does not provide this.
    - There is an email showing a password reset request for an account potentially called "SINI*****" on February 23rd which he claims is the account we sold him. Investigating the "SINNI*****Z" account username on hiscores that he claims is the account we sold him cannot be found on hiscores.
    - Investigating this further, there is an account with the username on "SLNL****Z" and adding this account on friends list shows previous name as "P* ***ies" and has similar stats to the account we sold him. The account SLN****Z has clearly leveled runecrafting since being sold to him and with what he stated about botting runecrafting, it potentially shows he botted this and the account may have been hijacked that way. If he was willing to share Wasp Scripts maybe he was given a dodgy version of the script and the account has been hijacked? And also the "gamebreaking scripts" he claims to have access to, could these all be cracked scripts he has?
    - The customer also has another email received today at 6:45am showing that membership for an account potentially called "P* ***IES" is expiring on 1st of March, which is 14 days after the replacement account was sold to him. He claims that this is an account that has a capital L not I and is called "P* ***LES" - looking on hiscores this account cannot be found. It also raises the question, why would he change the name of a supposed other account to a similar name to the account we supplied him?

    Regarding name changes:
    - We’ve noticed that the customer has usernames of accounts that are almost identical with other usernames, but with subtle differences; specifically, replacing the letter “I” with an “L.” This could be an attempt to mislead or confuse others. Such similar name changes, particularly when they resemble a previously sold account, raise concerns about the validity of the customer's claims. These suspicious modifications add further complexity to the situation and prompt us to question the customer’s intent.

    Further context:
    - We have sold thousands of accounts and have never had any issues with recoveries. Recent accounts have also been sold and nobody has reported issues either. Why would we recover just 1 account and not others?

    Please let us know if you would like screenshots and transcripts of conversations - we have ticketool transcripts for messages in the server. We are fully willing to cooperate with any investigation into this matter.

    - Provide screenshots of any password reset emails

    @Phantomsoldier Minimum TOS/warranty period on Sythe is 1 month - you cannot just sell accounts & claim no responsibility. You will need to assist in recovery/unlock for @Poetic_gaming.

    pic of the emails i got and the other pic is me having to forward them my email - and password and later the password was changed... its all in there transcript but they deleted me and blocked me and kicked me from the server discord so i cant really prove it but they can.... i bought 2 accounts basically and dont have access to a single one

    First screenshot is my email on the 2nd account i bought before it was taken away..

    And the 2nd one is about the 1st account that i paid full price for and it was taken away hours after i purchased it basically... and they didnt believe me, so i had to give them access to my emails pretty much... and the emails i made was for the accounts and im basically kicked out my own email its all in the transcript from there discord but they kicked and blocked me..

    1. Did he login on his home IP?
    2. Both screenshots he has provided are of the exact same thing?
    3. If the password reset emails were received to the email, how can someone else without access to that email change the password? There should be an email for recovery as well right?
    4. What does he mean by we kicked him out of his emails? We requested the OG email for the account that matches the login username just to check if the lock email was received.
    5. If he had followed instructions for the first account and registered the email FIRST - the account would not have got locked. This is why we tell customers to do this.
    6. He has not been blocked by anyone - he got kicked from the server to protect ourselves from him potentially spamming our server or anything like that.

    We do not care about giving a refund and will gladly do this if this is investigated properly. He is clearly trying to fool everyone and it's a matter of principle and we do not want this to happen to other sellers.

    [Edit: he created a new sythe account to respond as well? Why?]

    He has provided what is needed so far. An email wouldn’t be sent on a successful recovery unless it was that email used for the recovery - the registered email would get those password reset emails.

    He had problems with his sythe replying & replied on a guest account.

    In the screenshots provided it appears you deleted chats in DMs, why? At this time I’ve gone ahead and given a precautionary DNT.

    Thanks for looking into this. I have requested the client make a ticket on our server to process the refund and we can save the transcript for proof of refund. Easier than trying to go through recovery process which who knows how long it could take.
