   I believe I may have been scammed, although I’m not yet 100% certain. My RuneScape account was recently locked by Jagex due to “suspicious activity.” I purchased this account for $3,000 USD from a user named TheDon through Bald.gg.
   
   The main reason I decided to buy this account was because it originated from Bald.gg, and I was assured that accounts from their platform could not be recovered by previous owners. I was also told that if an account was ever locked by Jagex, Bald.gg (specifically Harvey, Laupie, and Washer) could assist in having it unlocked or recovered.
   
   After the account was locked, I reached out to them for help, but unfortunately, I’ve received little to no assistance since then. Yesterday, I was still able to see that the account status was “locked,” but today the password has been changed — meaning the account has been unlocked, but not by me.
   
   Given the circumstances, it seems that someone else now has access to the account I paid for. I’ve attached screenshots below showing the full situation and all relevant messages and transactions.
   
   I trusted Bald.gg because I was told they were the original owners of this account. According to Washer, Laupie is the creator of the account, which matches what TheDon also told me before I purchased it.
   
   I would greatly appreciate staff assistance in reviewing this case. This was a significant purchase, and I have provided all available proof of payment, ownership, and communication.

You claimed no responsibility while vouching for the account and even handled the sale through your Discord. If this had been a simple middleman situation, I would agree that you wouldn’t be liable. However, in this case, your staff not only created the account but also vouched for the sale and offered to assist with recovery. That goes beyond just being a neutral party — it shows direct involvement and responsibility.

 

The terms were very clear. Will let the Mod team respond to save this just going back & forth

EDIT: Any middleman transaction would always be done via a Discord Server. This enables everything to be correctly logged. That argument is completely pointless.

What I suspect has happened;
Soufd purchased a 7-8b bank from don for ~$3k
He's cleaned the bank
Got Don to recover it (hoping that Don wouldn't be able to and would therefore soufd would get a $3k refund)
Don has managed to recover it, now soufd is saying the bank is cleaned.

 

This is false — what bald.gg believes is not true. At the moment, I’m at work. I’ve taken clear screenshots that show it would have been impossible for me to have done this. I also had a good conversation with Don, which clearly shows that I have nothing to do with this situation.

I also have photos showing the exact moments when the account was locked, as well as when it was unlocked.

Bald.gg stated the following:

“What I suspect has happened;
Soufd purchased a 7–8b bank from Don for ~$3k.
He’s cleaned the bank, got Don to recover it (hoping that Don wouldn’t be able to and therefore Soufd would get a $3k refund).
Don has managed to recover it, now Soufd is saying the bank is cleaned.”

However, earlier he said he had no responsibility over this account. Now, by saying that a $3,000 refund could have been issued if it didn’t work out, he’s indirectly admitting that he was responsible for the account — since otherwise, he wouldn’t even be involved in such a refund discussion.

I find it strange that things are now being turned around, but that’s fine. I’ll take my time later to properly organize everything, as I’m not home right now.

 

This was in reference to you trying to potentially get Don to refund the $3k if he couldn't recover. Thankfully he did recover.

 

Subject: Explanation Regarding the RuneScape Account and Bank Ownership Issue

I was informed through bald.gg that this sale could be trusted and that the transaction between me and Thedon was safe. I was also told that it would not be possible for Thedon to recover the account once ownership was transferred to me. If I had known that Don still had access to so much recovery information or the ability to reclaim the account, I would never have purchased it.

I wanted to follow up on the matter regarding why I was not involved in the bank ownership issue of the RuneScape account I purchased. As you can see, I bought this account on October 17th, just after midnight at 01:22 AM, and transferred it to my own email address at that time. I also have proof of the transaction — a payment of $3,075 USD in LTC to Washer.

What I noticed, and what is visible in the provided screenshots, is that I did everything I could to recover my account, since it cost me a significant amount of money. As you can see, I messaged Washer that evening to inform him my account had been locked due to suspicious activity, and according to the message center on the account, it was indeed locked by Jagex that same day.

The billing support message was also not sent by me. Thedon wanted to transfer his display name to another account, but he needed a bond for that, which led him to accidentally purchase membership — I have a screenshot of that as well.

What I find very strange is that after I discovered the account was locked on October 18th, the password was changed the next day, even though I was told the account had not yet been recovered — while in reality, TheDon already had access to the account.

When I later tried logging in, I noticed that the message saying the account was “locked” had disappeared, and it now said the password was incorrect, which meant that the account had been unlocked by someone else outside of our case, though we don’t know by whom. I quickly reported this to bald.gg, explaining what had happened and that this situation was very suspicious.

To summarize clearly based on the screenshots and timestamps I have:

• On October 18th at 22:35, I discovered the account was locked.
  
  
• On October 19th at 13:36, Don replied after waking up, and I sent him the login info so he could see for himself that the account was indeed locked.
  
  
• On October 21st at 13:22, Don told me he had regained access to the account. I immediately changed the email linked to the account using the link Don sent me.
  
  
• When I logged in shortly after, on October 21st at 13:56, I saw (according to the Gyazo timestamp) that someone had logged into the account 11 hours and 40 minutes earlier, meaning the last login was October 21st at 02:16 AM.

I kindly ask that you take this case seriously and review everything carefully, as I am being completely honest — this situation should not be happening.

I am also willing to provide all evidence or allow Sythe to verify everything themselves. I give full permission for you to check my RuneLite logs, email addresses, or any other relevant information. I am supported by a trusted team that knows me well — I won’t mention names, but they can confirm that I am not lying and would not open a case like this without good reason.
