DaBeaner (https://www.sythe.org/members/782133/) (Discord ID 297910841595133952) kept messaging me about possible accounts I had for sale. We had talked a few times about one but on 2/19/25 he was adamant about one I had for sale and even more pressing that I put 1b GP on it. I thought nothing of it as he said he would cover the cost. He continued to message me over and over non stop while I was working to get the trade done. He asked for many different screenshots and claimed they were for a customer. The last screenshot he asked for was to verify the acc email could be changed. I sent him that screenshot not realizing there was a URL link to change that email directly below. He then immediately stopped messaging me. I went back to the account and it had been force logged out. The password was changed and the account I no longer had access to the account. When questioned, the first thing he asked was if the account had been recovered? I am the original owner of the account, username being [redacted] and registered email as my personal email. (verified in the screenshots) and the account has never been in anyone else's possession.

After continuing to talk, he told me that by the end of February he could reimburse me 50% of the gold lost. Knowing this is the best outcome I had, I waited and waited and was continuously answered with "waiting on transactions to go through". I even gave him a few extra days in hopes of recouping some of my GP and zero response.

I apologize for the links, I'm 31 years old and still have no clue how to set this up properly but tried my best. Please let me know if there's anything else I need to post.

Hello, first of all I want to state this from the beginning: I’m not in the scam at all, and the person who planned and executed all this is not me. im down to share all the related information to sythe mods, there are even pms between the actual scammer and me inside sythe, and I have all the discord logs between the actual scammer and me. I tried to solve this with the person that is reporting me out of compassion since I understand how this looks and I felt bad for him, but I see he didn’t wanted to take that route. It was on my part that I requested to the client the following screenshots, but it was him who sent them, I can’t access those screenshots from my own ability. I knew there was a scam going on since I was talking with the scammer on discord whenever this went down under the assumption he was my client and I was talking with a client, but I realized what was happening whenever he started insulting me and calling me slurs. That’s why I immediately messaged @BackToRS07 aaking if he account was hijacked.
