Explanation of the trade:

[N]oob was going to sell my 1900 total, TBOW, olm pet, etc. iron man (dead HC).

I do not have a vouched Sythe account, or any reputation, but I was good friends with [N]oob. He offered to sell the account for me with his reputation and friendships with admin / mods on here for a $100-200 dollar fee depending on price sold for. The buyer would be aware of this. I do have unrelated RS reputation on the internet with 460K+ subs on YT channel that would have been shared with the potential buyer.

He started and posted this for me before he had full access to the account and seemed to be going well. He kept telling me and the other members of the discord that he knows global moderating and is trustworthy and that my account would be safe in his possession and took responsibility for the account. I believe he knew/knows Pikachew or something like that.

How they scammed:

I gave [N]oob the account information, login details, recovery details so he could give this information to a buyer in the event he found one quickly and I was offline, even mentioning his "vouched by admins" in the title. He was offering to middleman this deal for me for cheap. This account had 3.2B worth of gear on it while in his possession to sell to another player.


[N]oob has a terrible gambling addiction, myself and other discord members pleaded with him to leave the gambling discords for months. He had recently left the gambling discord and had a celebration party for doing so with discord/clan members. This is partly why I trusted him with access to the account due to having stopped his gambling habit. He was also banned for RWT on all of his accounts and was starting fresh. At the time he was helping me sell my ironman he purchased 2 new accounts and was playing "the right way". He kept telling me he had all these highly interested buyers but each one was a "scammer" and there was never payment collected on his end. meanwhile he kept asking me for money and said he needed to pay for IRL medication. I told him no. He asked 3-4 other clan members who also told him no. At this same time he joined back in the gambling discord "ocean stakes" who is also banned on scythe. After a few days of this I asked him to lower price, he never responded. After a couple days of him ignoring my messages and calls, I logged into my account to find it was banned for RWT. He was still ignoring me. the ban happened days previously and lined up with he same day he started to ignore me and "needed money for medication".

The only 4 options that make sense to me are:
1- He needed the money so bad that he dropped traded high valued items (like the Tbow) to sell off and pay for his "needed medication".
2- He decided, since the payment for selling dropped from $200 down to $100 because of the price being lowered, that it was more worth it to steal the GP and feed his gambling addiction trying to double up and then pay for the meds.
3- He fell for a scam and gave account details to a potential buyer and the buyer then dropped traded the items off account.
4- he did sell the account, keeping the money for himself, and then RWTing the gold off the account potentially scamming another player.

It is important to note that the 2 other account he recently bought were also banned for RWT on the same time period that the ironman was banned for RWT and openly admitted this to me and other clan mates on discord.

Im not sure exactly how you get a RWT ban on a Ironman without one of the above options. The basics are he took responsibility for the account (including emails), agreed to a service amount, and then got my accounted banned after he logged in and had access. I have nothing to gain from this, im not looking to be compensated and I know he will never pay me back or make things right. I am out potentially $2000 for trusting him. I have no reason to make up things things, I was not paid for account, account is perm banned, and it makes so sense for me to somehow trade off those items making he account far less valuable.

I am going to maintain my innocence on the matter. While the account was given to my possession and details my accuser never gave me sole responsibility of the account. He himself had access to login and it was never secured on my behalf, I was merely given access to it. There were no strict TOS with regards to this verbal agreement to someone I once considered a friend. Frankly my accuser could have done the RWT himself or given access to the account to literally anyone besides me. While the situation is unfortunate I cannot take responsibility for this. I offered to help him sell the account in good faith as he originally was scammed navigating the choppy waters of sythe previously, but following an RWT on this iron in question I am reluctant to help him further. He has attempted to defame my character and brought up heresay irrelevant things such as my use of the discord ocean stakes. If they wish to bring reputation into the matter and character, this person is a clan member of Mccune's discord who has been notorious in doing chargebacks on sythe.

He says he has no reason to make this up but has been extremely vindicative towards me and did not even report a scammer on sythe for drop trading his previous ironmans accounts items and jagex launchering the account. He sold me this account for $200 and now I am most likely being scammed out of that amount as of the circumstances of this situation. To address the explicit RWT ban, he megascaled the account over 10 times using crypto payments. He also bought the account off of playerauctions originally so there is even the potential for account sales regarding the RWT ban. I can only speculate and frankly cannot be bothered to do so further. All his evidence is pure heresay, coincidental at best, and I do not believe are grounds for holding me accountable for this matter. If there is any need to justify or respond further please give me ample time as I am extremely busy IRL with work and do not always have time to check things on the web. In response to his message, for all I know, he stole the Gp the minute I gave him access knowing that if I had access to account he couldn't be pinned for it.
Why would I RWT items on my account and ruin the trade value? this makes no sense. I find it ironic [N]oob has been a member of "Mccunes" discord long before I joined yet uses this to question my character. I have also never charged back anything on scythe? I think he means Mccune did? which is irrelevant to me, and if it is relevant, that is the same discord he's part of too and has been for a longer period of time.

Megascales at the time were not against jagex rules, many players including player moderators do them and make YouTube videos about doing them. There has been no one banned for megascaling with proof of that being a perm banned offense. Furthermore, the last megascale competed was 4 weeks before you had access to the account and ALL megascales were done with me completing most if not ALL rooms. Paying people to scale the raid higher to get more points is not a banable offense especially considering the type go megascales the were done including with other ironman.

Buying a low level account last year would not result in a random RWT ban that coincidently lines up with when you started asking for money for medication and gambling habits. In addition, if my ironman was banned for megascales or being "purchased" as a low level account last year, why were ALL of your accounts also banned for RWT at the same exact time??? I can provide pics of him telling the discord channel on 5+ occasions in the last few months that eh was banned for RWT. This is a pattern with him.

I have never asked you to list another account for me? This was the first and only account I trusted you with. You must be mixing me up for other people. or lying.

 

I also find it funny you bring up the fact that I didn't report the scammer the last time I was scammed in a similar situation. This means you knew I didn't know how to report them, or that I simply don't care about losing money. You took advtange of that. That's another reason why you did this. Hoping for a free meal.
