Scammer's profile link: Snake
Amount scammed: Roughly 40b (Closer to 37-38b)
Discord ID + Unique Discord ID: kezauk - 474662647413997589
Proof that it's their Discord: imgur.com
Explanation of the trade: I've been having services done on my account by someone in his discord for months now, never having issues. Now noticed my account has all the gold (Summing up to nearly 40b in items and gold) has been stolen, and Snake is claiming that it's my loss because I left the gold on my account. But I was never explicitly told to take any wealth off my account or how much the worker was "insured" up till. Worker admitted they were the reason the gold was stolen, then promptly disappeared and stopped responding to messages.
How they scammed: Worker stole all my wealth, now he claims it's my fault and I eat the cost.

This is my tos that is to be accepted if you want access to my server: Screenshot - 37a766cfef3d350b18483fb5b1d26064 - Gyazo

note: 3. Before the service is started you must change your password and disable authenticator, then once the service is completed change your password again

The account that got its wealth stolen had rs3 questing services done on his account from the 26th til the 27th of January with a bank of 10b rs3.

Today 17th February eric claims "almost 40b" was taken from the account.

The user did not follow the tos he had almost 3 weeks to change the password to this account.

All other services was on a GIM that started on the 29th January and this account has not been affected

Eric states "He had done work on that account, and was actively doing work on my GIM
He hasn't even finished the work on the GIM... I still have about $60 in service pending"

I am happy to pay what services have not been completed on the GIM

See reported for relevant screenshots

Snake is claiming I should've changed my password after the service on my main was complete. However it is a Jagex account, so that password would remove access to my other account (the GIM) that snake admitted services were still being done on. I've been having this worker do work on my accounts for the longer part of 2 and a half months now, the intention was to continue having them do services as well. Never once was I told that I shouldn't keep wealth on my accounts, I even inquired about getting service work done on my OSRS iron that has a bank value of 8b+ and was told "It's not an issue." So why would I assume now suddenly there's an issue with having wealth on my account.

I'd also like to point out that he's refusing to take ownership of his own employee admitting that the gold is gone due to them. Not that it was my fault in any shape or form. His worker stole or got my gold stolen, they even tried to log into all of my other accounts on both OSRS and Rs3 to get as much out of it as they could. The worker admitted to how much it was in the DM's I previously posted. Snake refuses to take ownership for the workers he hired and trusted.

Rs3 Eric, can you please provide screenshots of the conversation between you and the worker that took place prior the screenshot you've provided (https://s3.gifyu.com/images/bSTn0.png), along with a GIF of you collecting their UID in the discord chat.

The discord UID for the worker in question here is a match to @scapeftw as seen in his post here.
I have issued @scapeftw a DNT while this report is reviewed.

@Snake in addition to the missing gold, Rs3 Eric claims that there were $60 in pending services that he paid for before this incident occurred. Is this accurate?

Attached you can see the worker saying what's still left in the ongoing service including me asking if it was possible to get it done quicker. Not to mention in my conversation I posted above, you can see worker admitting prayer is "almost done" when I asked him to log off: imgur.com

Here are all the transactions I sent to the workers LTC address as well as proof it's the workers LTC address (These are only the ones I sent through CoinBase. I also sent 1 $59 transaction through a different provider that I don't have access to anymore. But can pull chat logs to prove it): imgur.com

Rs3 Eric & @Snake,

I have discussed this report with other staff and I have come to the following decision.

@Snake will not be liable for the missing wealth on the account.
  • Although the worker (@scapeftw) agreed to pay Rs3 Eric $1100 CAD, he did not explicitly admit to stealing the wealth on the account as he stated an IRL friend could possibly have removed it.
  • There is no way to prove how much wealth was actually on the account.
  • I can't rule out the possibility of Rs3 Eric removing the wealth from the account himself.

@scapeftw will remain with a DNT and will need to address this situation should they ever choose to Request a Pardon.

@Snake will be liable to refund payment for any uncompleted services on the account, which as agreed upon by both parties here above, came to a toal of $60.

However, this money is not to be refunded to Rs3 Eric, but rather sent to the Community Repayment Fund, as Rs3 Eric is evading his ban on @Pk_mage / @OrphanEaterAnnie and has an active debt of $400 from this report.

@Snake, please send the payment of $60 btc to the community repayment wallet: bc1q75k9eamcxqf97mukg35g5sfwewy27g8gc8taaa and confirm here when this has been done.

Seems pretty unfair that even though what would be considered a literal admission of guilt, and the fact that whoever went on my account to sell let bank including getting rid of literal dyed items would need my complex bank pin. Which the worker had and admitted to keeping on a notepad by his computer. That the service provider is now being held not liable because i can’t prove there was wealth on my account or that I didn’t take it off.

Why would I remove dyes from my items, or sell items worth millions for less then 1k gp. That doesn’t make sense at all, especially when you factor in the fact that the worker is now completely missing and non responsive and that I bought the gold that was on the account aside from the black phat from the service provider lmao. You’re essentially saying it’s completely okay to steal from people because it’s impossible to prove how much gold someone has on their account at any given time. How am I supposed to prove there was wealth on my account if he’s logged in and stolen it? There’s no trade logs or ip logs of logging in and out. This is pretty ridiculous and very unfair.

@Snake I have confirmed that the payment has been received into the Community Repayment Fund.
Funds sent to/from community repayment

Rs3 Eric, what would be fair is addressing your own debt. You still have an active debt of $339.22 from this report.
If you would like to make things right on your end, you can send that amount to the Community Repayment Fund, the link is posted above.
