I've been reported, yet I didn't scam. (CHEMONK)

Chemonk reported me, and I'm sure you mods see that. I have quite a few reasons why I didn't scam and neither of us should be in trouble. As you see, there is no way that you can infract/ban either of us from the proof provided. There were no account screenshots, only a conversation and a few pms. I would like to point out the major downfall of this whole thing. With the conversation that was provided, it could be taken two ways. One in my favor, one in his. Although it may be harder to see it in my favor, I will admit, I had great reason for this whole thing. I didn't scam him at all. I took nothing from him. I will explain how.

Alright, so as I'm talking to this person, I can tell right off the bat that he's a scammer. You're probably wondering why I can notice that right off the bat? If you're a mod, you can probably search and see that I've been in the black market a while, and I've done hundreds of transactions. Some of which were with scammers, some of which with trusty people. I've been scammed, and I've had people try to scam me PLENTY of times. I'm also a member of other forum communities that try to buy and sell accounts. In all of the websites that I'm a member of, and on my old WoW business, I've probably had over 300 people try to scam me. This Chemonk character is a sly one. If you're not as avid as I am in selling/buying accounts, you probably wouldn't notice it unless you're able to really break apart conversations and interpret everything. Mods, look closer into the conversation and see what happened. Everything started off nice, we chatted and were friendly. I was pretty sure he was a scammer from the start, I wanted to see how he would attempt to scam me. He gave me all the info, and then it came to the email. He tried the old "I changed the email but I really didn't" trick. Right from there, I was 100% sure he was a scammer. He was trying to give me the account, yet still have the registered email to access it. After I mentioned it, he quickly did what he was supposed to, just to keep me interested in the trade, or so he thought. In my head, I wanted to fuck this scammer over big time. I've always hated scammers, and in my 3 years being here, I strongly believe that is why most of the great people in the community left. The black market is FULL of scammers now. Jesus, I couldn't wait to fuck this scammer over. So he gave me the account, yet he did one thing wrong. HE DIDN'T GIVE ME THE CD KEYS! You need those to have control of the account. He never gave me full control of the account. As he said, " I have the cd keys, I am just going to take the accout back " I took NOTHING from him. By signing off, I was giving him a hard time because I hate the scammers. And I wasn't scamming him, I was taking nothing. He was in control of the account at all times.

Scam, Scammed, Scamming- a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, esp. for making a quick profit

He was the one trying to scam me. See, what he does, is he makes people THINK they have complete control of the account. The people then send him money via paypal, check, money order or whatever. That's where the profit comes in. After they have the money, they call up Blizzard and get their account back with all of the information. So, by signing out, I was NOT scamming since I took nothing, he had complete control. I was gaining no profit, nothing at all. The only thing I was gaining was sheer disgust and frustration. The thing that bothers me the most is the scammers in this community, so obviously I'm going to try to reverse it up and fuck him over. The account was never in my control, it's still in his control as I type this.

Now, the thing that really disappoints me is that although he was the one attempting to scam, he can't get in trouble since there is insufficient proof. That's why I call him a sly scammer, even if I reported him, there isn't enough proof at all. He is also sly because in the conversation, he tried to make it look like I was the one scamming. Notice how he only posted conversation and pm's that proved nothing on both sides? And that's the thing, too. Even if you think I'm scamming (which I wasn't, and I hope you can see my side of the story from the 90 page essay I typed above), there isn't proof to prove me nor him a scammer. I hate that, and that's why I abruptly ended the conversation.

All in all mods, please be cautious when going about this decision. The decision you have to make, as I know of, is infracting or banning someone, or not doing anything at all do to insufficient proof. As much as I hope you would ban or infract Chemonk, I know that there is no proof to do that. And I know that as much as Chemonk wants you to ban or infract me, that can't happen since there is also insufficient proof and I didn't take anything from him at all. Well, I guess anything CAN happen since you're in control of the situation, but just please be careful, and watch out for people like Chemonk in the future. The type of scam that they do is un-noticed unless you dig deeper, or if you know about WoW trades. Accounts can be recovered with the CD-Key, and he had that, and didn't give it to me. He was in control, I wasn't. Well, my fingers are throbbing, so I'll rest my case. I think I've given enough information. Be cautious of this guy in the future. Thanks.
