Good morning, Merry xmas, Happy Holidays

I'm not really sure how to go about this one as it's a weird one so i'm just gonna post everything.
If i'm missing anything can someone please let me know and i'll get it sorted.

I had bought a HCIM from a VERY trusted Sythe User by the name of Searchy. Great guy, done over 10-20k in sales with the guy over 10 years now probably.
This HCIM, I decided to get some work done on, so I sent the account to Strawbsombrero's services, another person i do actually trust, i've also bought accounts from him etc etc which is why i decided to use both of these guys.

Everything seemed to be going good, i do long term orders and Strawb personally was very good to me, i had an issue with his first worker, he changed it up for me instantly etc.

I then decided to do a 2nd big order but wanted a new worker which Strawb provided for me. After this new worker starting, after the second day, i was PM'd to inform me that the worker did not want to do my order with the additional work i had requested so i could get a refund.

It was at this point that I decided to try log back into the account myself and came to see that the account password had been changed as well as an Authenticator being put on.
I messaged Strawb immediately and he was VERY helpful. He even showed me that the account had gone through a name change and it was being trained on.

I then messaged Searchy the same day in regards to helping me recover the account back. This took a little bit of time, with the holidays etc Searchy was busy as was I but this morning I was able to get the account back and log in to see that some items are missing as well as the hardcore status being revoked. Someone had died on the account. Worst of all, you can check on the Hiscores at what point the account had died.

Strawb telling me he can refund my order as worker doesn't want to do it anymore and then my timestamp an hour later of me showing him the authenticator requested to log in to the account.

just wanted to show a SS of Strawb really helping me, don't wanna do the guy dirty as i genuinely believe he was being genuine and helpful with me.

I've asked Strawb to send over the ticket information from his server too. Anything else you guys need please do message me and i'll get onto it.

Honestly i don't know what to make of this. I trust both guys (Searchy and Strawb), my loyalties would lie with Searchy as i've known the guy for way longer and done more business with him. Strawb seems to be a v good guy, i don't really know what to make of the situation. Anyone that knows me knows that i'm a straight shooter, i play this game solely for fun along with the transactions i make in Sythe.

However this is the 2nd time in a year now that i've had an issue with my HCIM that i've spent stupid money and hours on to just lose its status over some typical minor bullshit. Legit had enough of how there seems to be no trading care/standards in this industry and how people are getting out of shit based on technicalities. I've been on/off Sythe since 2004 and back in the day it was more of a community. We looked after each other.

Somewhere in this story I have been massively wrong done. I have spent a lot of IRL money on this account alone + multiple hours of playing. I really could not give a shit about any kind of compensation to be honest, i just want to see this stop happening, it's ridiculous. Sythe should take pride in the people that are doing business here and have an urge to ensure that all business being done on the site is being done so in good ethic. 15-20 years ago this was the case for 80% of the community. It's a shame to see this number drop. Also if i've gone wrong anywhere if someone could show me where just so i can protect myself going ahead.

I just want to add that you never linked your email to the account and didn't change the password to the account after you bought it from us. If you just linked your email, nobody could have taken the acount and nothing would have happened

At this point, lots of people know the details to your account as you've had services done by multiple workers and it would be impossible to know who took the account

Regardless, I recovered the account and returned it to you so no scam has been made. I'm not really sure what you're trying to achieve with this report as you got your account back

 

Very unfortunate situation here, I have to agree with searchy and I told AFC myself as soon as he said the account was unregistered if I had known he didn't register email or change password since the start we would have never taken his order.

At least 5 people had his info at once to my knowledge, two of my workers, afc, searchy, and whoever trains searchy's accounts.

I'm away till the new year if anything is needed from me ill respond asap.
