I am very saddent and frustrated to be back at this report section 2nd time this week.
Gladly the first report got handled and I got my refund, but I am afraid this one will not go this way so easy.

Explanation of the trade:

So today I made a deal with SalerPro to buy a Runewild account with 26b on it, at a 9m/B rate.
But I told him I really just wanted to chuck this gold in flowerpoker, and if I win I wanted to sell the gold/account back to him. This at a rate of 8m/B.
This would give me a quick sell, and give him a quick and easy profit.

So I bought the account for 250m osrs, all went smooth. And praise the lord I actually won for once in flowerpoker, ending up more then doubling my cash stack.

So me and SalerPro arranged a deal, he got a buyer instantly and promised me 472m osrs for 59B runewild (as agreed in advance)

After several minutes he said the new buyer has paid him the osrs, and I had to give him the account details (I changed the password on forums, at first, but it turns out this doesnt change the actual ingame password, therefor it actually was still the same password that he gave me)

So when I noticed the new buyer was able to login to the account (I was watching ingame on alt account). He moved around a little bit near bank, but I lost him in the crowd.
Then I get a Discord message from SalerPro saying there is no Gold on the account.

How they scammed:

So somehow inbetween me loging out of the account, and him logging in and making his video, the gp must of traded / or put on bj table quickly.
The issue is, he sold me this account and told me to change pw for safety. So I went to do this on forums, but turns out this doesnt change password ingame.
I made sure to stay logged untill I gave him the new password (I thought, this one didnt register ingame) and only then logged out. Inbetween this time, and him saying he buyer logged to find no money on the account, they might of already transfered the money over.

Then SalerPro said he recorded the screenshare from his buyer, which, after seeing kinda shocked me Because I never expected him to have this kind of 'proof'. It really shows his buyer login without there being any money on the account.
I was in such disbelief and shock after this video, because it really looks so legit. Which in my eyes, seeing SalerPro as a scammer, looks like a really well thought out scamm with fake proof.

But I did began to doubt myself for a second, did I maybe dropped the 59b just before logging out? But I went to verify this straight after and you get a Drop Warning whenever you try to drop any ammount of coins.

But then when I look closer at the video you see in the chat he already gave the account details before they screenshare was actually up.
With that, you see me saying in the chat that I logged out of the account, at 05:34, and only at 05:37 I get a message that the password is wrong. This could be enough time for him or the new buyer to login (with the old password) and xfer the gold.
Also you can't see what chat they had before (I would be interested in bringing this evidence forward (even tho he would of deleted any proof by now))

And then I hear from other Sythe Sellers, who I have as contacts on Discord, that SalerPro is known for being banned previously for scamming.
After explaining the situation and showing them the video they said it looks sketchy, and that there could be ways where they xfered the gold away from the account before making the video.

This eventually fetched me over to make this report.

Also, I found it strange why he did not asked me to screenshare, when I initially bought the account.


For some reason I want to believe SalerPro, that this is not his fault and he is not actually trying to scam me, that it is just the buyer that has screwed him over.
Or even that it is some kind of mechanical/game issue.

But just for the chance I actually did got scammed, I wanted to make this report. To atleast make you guys, sythe moderators, aware of this very intelligent and hard-to-track scamming method.

I told him I would make a detailed report after I walk the dog and had dinner. He said he would wait for this report, and he would reply to his immediatly. But also he said he was waiting for the report for paying back the buyer.
But then out of nowhere he closes and deletes my ticket.

No buddy, info was giving while we're in screenshare i have full video i've showed u a part of video because its high qulity take long to upload i'll have to upload final one right now and posting it

the video is uploading (I have video ready to go but there some payments and private info on video staff can ask for video i'll sent to them)

There no way my buyer risky his money to scam, plus no way he has a time to trade to another account while we're was on screen share as you guys see there no time available for my buyer to transfer gold to another account

 

There is 3 minutes of time. More than enough to transfer gold to a other account

 

In my video, there is no more time after sending the correct password, I sent it to the guy at the same time, I have no idea why you say 3 minutes here

 

I'd rather wait for sythe staff to deal with it, and I'm fine with any judgment

 

I've seen the private video from @SalerPro (not the one you linked, but it's in a deleted post for staff only view since it has more sensitive information) and it shows him relaying the account information to the buyer during the same time you gave him the correct information since it was initially incorrect due to an error on your end with the pw change request. There is a possibility you could've transferred it prior to giving the correct information and there's also a possibility the middleman of the trade (Salerpro) could've transferred it through another party, but the timestamps make that close to impossible. I'm not going to play the he said she said game though as there's no way to hold anyone liable here since that'll all come down to that. I know it's unfortunate since this is likely the safest way for trades to be conducted on an RSPS, but these reports are similar to drop trades because a bunch of external factors come into play that make it impossible for us to prove anything.

@SalerPro Feel free to refund the buyer and let me know once that has been done so I can close this, thank you.

 

The buyer was sorted a couple hours ago (proof in deleted post for staff view), therefore I'm going to close this.
