I am middle-manning an account trade - One Party want's to back out.

Explanation of the trade: I am middle manning an account trade, it was in the final stages where @drummerkid was waiting to get the email through jagex to move it to his email and I would pay out 850m 07 to @Positive301 , I asked Drummerkid in private dm's for the username login to do a sythe search on it, and the search linked to this user: fishbowlhead00 and when looking further he was selling an account that I beleive to be the same as the account he is currently selling now.

Account that @fishbowlhead00 was selling: 93 CMB QUEST CAPE ACCOUNT. Assembler Firecape Torso Ddef. 1800 Total Level base 70s

@Positive301 also gave his irl info to @drummerkid and his first name matches his old discord on @fishbowlhead00 's account: Deanim#0411

I am posting this report as @drummerkid does not want to move forward with this trade knowing @Positive301 previous account is @fishbowlhead00 and is DNT, and we want to see what mods have to say to move forward with this situation as I am holding the gold. I would also like to add the @Positive301 was looking to sell me the gold via Paypal/UKBT after this trade was complete.

This information is all accurate. I was happy to go ahead with the trade even though seller was unable to provide me with original email which was promised. Once the cross referencing was done and the old thread was found, based on information I received when conversing with the seller it became very obvious to me this is the same person and I no longer wish to proceed with the transaction.

The registered email for the account in question is still registered to the original owner. The password has been changed. I can send a password change request which the seller will receive in his email, he can change the password and recover full access to his account leaving me able to be refunded.

Big thanks to Bert and his very diligent middle-manning saving me from a potential loss.

 

I dont have a perspective. i was happy to trade. The trade didnt happen due to a past dnt on an account i had which i received for not being able to prove i was the owner of my first account on sythe
