Should I accept payments through PayPal Family & Friends?

Use PayPal for physical trade, not for virtual

 

PayPal is outdated imo. I'd use things like Venmo, Cashapp, Bitcoin, etc. There are a lot of new ways to trade without risking the chargebacks.

Oh how I remember back in the days when people used LR (Liberty Reserve.....) the nostalgia...

 

Yea id only use paypal for items I can ship aside from that a crap load of other methods to use.

 

Your paypal + balance can get banned at any time if they find you to be using friends and family for goods to avoid G&S fees/chargeback prevention

 

If you’re using it for physical trade it does provide seller security. I buy a lot of things through PayPal. I feel like if you’re utilizing the goods and services function and actually have a shipping tracking number that it isn’t too bad to use.

Only buy with PayPal G&S never sell as you'll risk being chargebacked same with venmo etc.

 

You can quote on quote "dispute" F&F too, if it's a compromised PayPal account, PayPal will investigate the transaction. And if it's a non-tangible good (07 gold) that money is as good as gone. So just don't accept PayPal from Randoms, lots of rats around just wanna fuck you over, don't fall for it...
