I was buying a white party hat for $1,500 through zelle from user apee on discord using a middleman named connection who he recommended and I thought was trusted. I sent $1,500 through zelle who my bank is now doing a fraud investigation on and I have the police involved. Connection was suppose to send the money to apee then I was suppose to get this white party hat. After sending the money the convo on discord was removed between the three of us and I was blocked. Both of these scammers need to be removed immediately.

I was removed from our group chat in discord where he sent me his zelle info and that chat disappeared where I can't see it anymore. If there's a way to pull this chat up let me know and I will grab some pics.

Proof that it's their Discord: I had Connection verify in pm on sythe and sent my discord to the seller in pm who reached out to me on discord
Explanation of the trade: I was buying white party hat for $1,500 via zelle. I sent $1,500 to connection via zelle who was the middleman and within a minute the group convo on discord was dropped and I havent heard from connection since.
How they scammed: Took my $1,500 then haven't heard from them since. Seller has also been quite not saying anything at all.

Fraud investigation open with both banks mine and his and police report has been filed. I'd just like these two off this site for good. I have people sending me messages saying they have been hit by these guys also so it's not the first time. You can't steal $1,500 online with paper trail and think you're getting away with it.

 

The group chat in discord where connection sent me his zelle email which was [email protected] disappeared after the $1,500 was zelled to connection. I can't get a photo since the chat is gone. I'm not that fluent in discord but if there's a way to pull it back I will. I never deleted the convo but can't seem to find a chat log. I just have that photo where he did confirm in sythe that I was talking to him in discord for the middleman. I have proof the $1,500 was sent out to him. I have had no contact from him since.
