Need Help Urgent! Restoring My Comp To Factory Settings!

    Hi Guys :D
I realised my one year old laptop is beginning to be quite slow and i have a lot of shit on it :S
I want to wipe my computer to default settings and re-install the important things i have on it.
I am currently using Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator to burn an image of the computer.
    Can someone help me ..
    Does the Recovery Disc Help?
    How Do I restore comp?
    THANKS SO MUCH!

If you bought a PC with no recovery CD, it will come with a recovery disc. Try making the DVD with the tools it comes, in this case Toshiba one, and restarted the PC with the DVD inside the drive. Follow installation process and if you are asked to format the disk, select yes. After you have done it, re-install all programs and be ready to enjoy the new speed

Configure your bios to read from a cd before your harddrive. When you turn on your computer you should see something along the lines of boot ( if it has the word boot in it click it.) Now, when you have the new window open you should see an order of devices which will probably look like this:
    1.) Hard Drive
    2.) CD-Rom
    3.) blah
    4.) etc

All you have to do with that is change the #1 to CD-Rom. Save your settings, and your computer should restart. Next, the computer will hopefully boot from the cd, and you'll see the installation panel that lists options. Some of which might be the following: Install OS, Try out OS, or Uninstall. Those were really rough examples, but you'll want to click the 'Install OS' and follow through the instructions.

If you need anymore help, please PM me.

All BIOSes by default read first from CD... there's no need to change, unless it was changed before. But I forget to tell him that :p
