I was made aware that there was a rollback last night. One of my customers was claiming they lost gold; however, I have not received it back. I can't be out of pocket for unforseen circumstances. This user seems to not have a sythe account & I'm afraid they're trying to take an advantage of a potential opportunity.

How the osrs server work is, they are your save point from the time your account logs out when the server crashes this is nulled sort of and it doesn't save correctly, so if an account logged out before the server crashed it be saved, if the account had not logged out it would not have saved

but rather than losing gold as stated in this case, they used it to gain gold, there are other videos and even possibly J mods explaining it in more detail (I know QBD reached out buyer but that none of my business)

I know I’m not directly involved in this report but I’m 99% sure this happened to me prior.

Bought 800m in gold and there was a rollback and it was just gone. Acc logged out in same place it was pre rollback.

mods can delete if need be but thought I may as well provide my insight

Like QBD said there is absolutely no way to guess that things can occur so I have no hard evidence of it other than my bewildered chats with my gold supplier at the time (he didn’t gain the gold I lost)

 

Uhh not sure how you’re getting on about this here. I logged out multiple times to hop worlds. But they did a restore point back to before me and @QBD even traded so the gold doesn’t just disappear. It disappeared off my acc because they did a restore point back to before me and him even traded for the 2nd time for gp. Which was 783m. The gold doesn’t just get removed out of the game or disappear when they do a backup.

 

They rolled accounts back to the save point at 04:50 game time (so just over 11 hours ago) before me and him even traded the 2nd time, so the gold doesn’t just disappear. Not sure what happened but I can’t be out losing $242 and him gaining to keep the $242

 

Yes, they did a rollback but they went back pretty far and I had logged out at the end of the night when I was done online before they even stated they were gonna announce a rollback on their Twitter/osrs discord.

 

Servers were still up until they officially cut the servers off to initiate a rollback last night and before they even stated they were gonna rollback last night in the early hours.

 

My point is, the gp is gone off my acc due to a rollback but they did a rollback to a point before me and him even did our 2nd trade for 783m. So how does the gp just disappear?

 

It’s in his screenshot basically in our discord messages wasn’t even 12 am yet. And this was way before an rollback was announced on their Twitter/osrs discord.
