Explanation of the trade: basically Divx tried to sell me an ironman that he bought from Corby, as we all know Corby is a trusted dude and i had no problems with buying it from divx since he is my IRL friend.. the thing is i asked him in danish "will there be a full refund if the account ever gets stolen" and he replied with "yes" - so now 1 year after the account got stolen, and he can't help me get it back.. apparently the infos he has is not enough to get a recover.. and as a part of our deal i want the refund and he denied it by saying "i only wanted to refund you if it was corby" which is pretty dumb since 1: i knew corby would never scam and 2: i also wrote if the account ever gets stolen in generale.
How they scammed: refused to refund me my money in the part of our agreement.

Let me know if I should try to recover for Barb_Dis. I have low expectations but I think this is so old I am actually OO. I just didnt want to try for Divx since the order was so old I was afraid this exact situation (acc being resold) would happen.

His email was hacked, it was not Corby.

I have tried my best to recover said account.

This was also an irl deal that had nothing to do with sythe.

 

that's bullshit.. i never said corby in danish i said in general.. so don't put corby into this.. i have more evidence i will post now where i'm telling you that i was about to buy from corby before you wanted to sell that account.. so i trusted corby and i knew he would never recover.. so that's just bs.

 

evidence that i was about to buy from corby and you called me a noob.. why would i buy from someone who i didn't trust myself? everybody knows corbys name... so nobody was worried about corby trying to scam it back..

 

In these photos, Barb_Dis openly admits that his registered email was compromised, and that was not part of our deal.
I would never agree to a lifetime refund, as it common to Sythe that most deals have 30 days to 12 months at most.

I agreed to full refund, if Corby ever recovered the account, which i knew was not gonna happen.

 

That’s the whole point.. the account got stolen and you promised me a full refund like stated above.. you’re just posting the pictures that i explained in the thread. we Both know that corby won’t scam so stop trying to avoid the legal matters which you ageed upon.

 

Yes and the TOS was that if the account got stolen he would do a full refund and That’s the picture in the thread stating and he agreed upon that..

 

so now he wants to change it to “ i only want to refund if corby scams it” which makes no sense since we Both know That corby would never scam.. it’s just to avoid the refund.

 

ToS was if Corby recovered as stated in photos.

Not a full on lifetime refund, when his registered email got hacked 13 months later.

Also this was not a sythe deal, but barb is trying to make it a sythe deal.

it does not matter if we traded it on facebook or on sythe.. the thing is you're a scammer and you're on this website and i'm exploating you so others don't get the same threatment... you can't be like " ohh i scammed him on facebook, so it does not count on sythe"

 

even if i get a refund it won't count as much since i lost 800+ hours working on that account.. the GP alone is worth more than the refund itself. it does not make it okay to steal the account back if it is 12 or 13 months.. thats irrelevant.. the bottom line is you're not keeping the TOS that we agree'd upon.. and i never thought an irl friend would try to scam.

i don't think corby will recover it.. and as far as i know there's always one guy who can recover it, but i'll probaly neither get the account or the money back.. i was promised a refund and now i'll be getting nothing because suddenly divX goes from " i'll give you a refund if it ever gets stolen" to "i'll only refund if corby steals it" which we all know corby would never do since it's his business... i posted pictures of me telling DivX i was going to buy from corby myself before he told me i was a noob for doing that and pushed me to buy his account - why would i buy an account from Corby if i didn't trust him myself? so the agenda about him refering to only refunding me if corby took it back is debunked totally. Normally i would have lost this case, but due to him accepting the TOS that says he has to refund me if i ever lost the account turns the entire case in my favor.

 

I just want to make this perfectly clear.
I have not acted in bad faith, i have done my utmost to help out Barb with recovering said account. I even reached out to Corby in an attempt to getting the account recovered.

I have no desire for the account, as my own ironman is much further ahead.

The ''noob'' statement has nothing to do about him buying from Corby, it were merely a banter statement.

I would never of agreed to a term, that stated that no matter what happens to this account, i would refund him. I agreed to refunding if the account was stolen by Corby.

Why would I take the risk forever to refund this account, and for every possible scenario?

Barb put him self in this scenario, by getting his registered email hacked.

I also noticed looking back at my conversation with him, he were asking about the email to it on August 5th 2022.

Further more, i'd like to point out, that Barbs statement about him having 800 hours of ''work'' put into this account, is clearly a lie. This should also put a minor light regarding if he is to be trusted.
