Amount scammed: $68 (I had enough tokens for 17b at .026 , he increased the price to .03 after i made a cashout, $68 difference) and wouldn't offer a crypto refund

Explanation of the trade: I cashed in $614 with intentions to buy rs3 gold from the thread here Selling The Cheapest RS3 Gold [Many Cryptos Supported] [$1000 Donor]

How they scammed:
When I cashed in $614 the price was .026/m I created my first 5b withdrawal to test ban, no ban so I created a withdrawal for the rest and he increased the price by .03/m and would not provide any refund for crypto because he is not a gold selling website however advertises 4 threads on sythe to visit runestake to buy and sell gold

It is hard for me to prove these allegations because it was spoken inside of a ticket, he has since closed those tickets and i cannot recover chat logs


But I do believe legitimacy in regards that he'll confirm these allegations and I think a sythe ruling is needed as i don't believe it's fair that he can just change the rates once he has my crypto and not offer a refund, if this was done with a generic gold seller they would get banned

Which violation you are reporting the user for:
Slandering Luck and claiming he sells hacked rs3 gold with no evidence provided to me, in my eyes this is not fair as it could cause Luck to lose sales when he's innocent until proven guilty

Why you think they're violating Sythe rules:

If this was a generic person not with the name ''Fox'' or ''Runestake'' it would be seen as immoral and scummy

This leads to unhealthy competition through other sythe members if we have snakes going behind peoples backs claiming gold is hacked/scammed/stolen especially when they are in the same market of selling rs3 gold to

Why you think they're violating Sythe rules:

He told me in the runestake ticket runestake is not a buying gold website (that was his excuse to not have to honour increasing the gold prices) although advertises visiting go to runestake to buy gold on those threads and on his profile

For my allegations which were not possible for me to provide evidence because it's in a ticket which can't be reopened the ticket ID is UV8T7-BSP3TJN-KCLE

I am sure he can provide these chat logs to another moderator

 

I will gladly refund whatever the staff decides of the thread but I need a short while to respond. Most of the stuff I reply with can't be posted public but the staff can public it if need be.

Xero and I handled this privately. The damages that were dealt to Runestake were returned in full with some extra on top due to market fluctuation.

We were already in the process of getting policies and terms of service from lawyers to prevent confusion of changing market rates in the future.

This thread can be closed once Andy speaks to @XeroGP
