Explanation of the trade:
wanted to buy some osrs gold with cashapp, but it was sent from my card and not from my cashapp balance. Said vendor will not accept this as a form of payment as it is strictly payments funded via wallet. After manual attempts (calling my bank and cashapp support) it is decided that there is no way to refund the exact payment , but instead the money would have to be transferred to me in the same way it was sent. Vendor has asked me to open a report so that this situation can be properly documented as a level of trust is not currently established with said vendor to operate outside of these terms. They seem happy to return my money with the correct procedures in place.

I have done one trade with this individual in the past. He bought gold from me through cashapp balance and I gave him the gold but then he tried to request refund 3 times 30 mins afterwards which I just kept declining and I found to be super shady. So fast forward 3 days he tries to buy gold again and I thought as long as it is from balance I should be fine but instead he sends from his bank this time so I did not feel comfortable giving him gold since bank payment is not 100% safe for me so I ask to refund the payment like he did the first time but he says he doesnt have that option. So now I am stuck with his $ in my cashapp and I dont feel comfortable sending him money from my balance either since I cant get balance back if he charges back down the line. From time to time depending on the person I am ok with giving gold even if they accidently sent from bank but after what happened in the first transaction and the way he talks I dont find him trustworthy so I asked him to open a report for mods decision. I can show screenshots and whatever too just let me know

 

Vendor misses out that it was accidental (I tried buying gold from someone else outside of scythe but they took too long to respond so I made alternative plans, mistakenly attempting to use panda services to Expedite my waiting times ) , the money was sent from cashapp wallet so vendor fully comprehends the payment could not just be refunded without the vendor manually confirming the request, which suggests it’s pretty clear it was not the intention to just get the money back like the vendor is insinuating and even though this was a mistake on my part, it does not justify holding the money from a customer with little to no support on how to get it back after days. Vendor fails to mention that he has refused to send the payment back to me as it is “not safe” for him to do so , insists I call the bank (even though I literally called my bank and they have informed me I cannot dispute this cashapp transaction otherwise I would’nt be here typing), also fails to mention that vendor continually refuses to call cashapp to request a refund for the payment (which would refund the payment in the only way he tells me he is willing to do) as according to vendor It is “not worth their time” talking on the phone to sort out this issue and tells me it will take hours, even though I’ve literally been on the phone with cashapp myself over this problem so I know it doesn’t even take long but obviously as I am not the owner of the account holding my money I cannot issue a refund from my own side.

 

assuming that this is the same person, had problems with him when i sold him gold once, literally admitted to scamming lol
