I reached out and politely asked this use to reconsider branding into purple pirates about a week ago. He has not made any attempt to fix the situation and has put up more purple pirate themed gfx since.

This user's whole server was green color schemed with no relation to pirates at all before these gfx were used. I feel like the graphics are a direct rip of my server's long existing color theme and theme being purple pirates. Specifically the User's pfp and mine are almost an exact copy just with slightly different gfx. The pfp itself contains a purple pirate hatted skull with our user directly below. The user claimed my gfx or server's theme had no input into the gfx the user had commissioned, I find it hard to believe another user would have the almost exact same original idea for a pfp. maybe if it wasn't a skull and just a regular pirate or a different color. I just find this really unbelievable as being a coincidence.

This user claims to not think of PoG when having these Gfx done, but this user has shared a decently close relationship to PoG. We have shared some staff members before and when this user started their discord used a ToS that was almost identical to my own. (Don't care about the ToS and it has since been edited to be different now.) I've followed their server since it was created and didn't mind them using some inspiration but I feel like this went too far. When first confronted about the gfx similarities it seemed the user got hostile and defensive. And by the end of the conversation claimed the pfp in question was somehow samurai themed. I believe this was an attempt to redirect. I am overall certain this was an attempt at copying my theme whether it was from him or his gfx designer as he stated during our conversation.

For reference when the user mentioned I had green in my server in my ticket tool he is referring to the button and embed color again I feel a hard reach and redirect to try to take blame off the user.
Since I mentioned his server color palette used to be all green.

As I said to you before I went into this rebranding not knowing what I was going to rebrand to.

Just because someone else has a pirate theme does not mean plagiarism.

I was not even in your server until you messaged me about this.

Happy to provide full conversation with gfx to show no one even mentioned @Chich or there server.

Also as you agreed the only thing you’re annoyed about is the fact it’s purple and pirates.

I agree 100% we’re both pirate theme but that’s about it.

your server/yourself was not any form of inspiration towards my server or gfx.

Hi,

Just so I can share my insight as the person who was commissioned to create @Get Taxed GFX I had no insight or inspiration to @Chich already established branding.

I am the one who suggested the purple pirate not knowing or caring if another provider in the same market had a pirate theme as I think it's completely irrelevant.

As you can see from the screenshot below with our initial conversation I am the one who suggested the pirate theme

As you can see above there is nothing similar about the GFX nor did I know it's existence, the only similarity would be it's a pirate.

These companies among many others have more similarities in their logos then we do, some of which are fortune 500 companies and are still allowed to operate without the need to change their logo.

The only similarities we have is a colour that cannont be plagarised and a generic pirate, this is just a waste of time.

No one was looking at your discord server or your GFX when we went ahead with rebranding.

Also, @Pirate can you rebrand/change name because your name clashes with @Chich's theme.

 

Going to drop this here too since I was ghost pinged several times in your server today when this was being said.

Even if its a joke, in our conversation you said yourself you would be annoyed if this was reversed and your brand was copied. Since you definitely wanted me to see this. I'll just say it would have been nice to just let it go, but it seems like your dead set on trying to troll or upset me. I'll leave it at this and let mods handle it from here. My original intention was to reach out to you amicably and I feel like your going out of your way to antagonize me at this point.
