Explanation of the trade: Purchased $674.46 of leveling for my Ironman to get multiple skills/quests completed.


How they scammed:

@Chad stated he will discuss refund tomorrow or the day after as he is moving houses. This report is put up as a precaution and a warning to those who use BoostedMMO services that the work is outsourced and protective measures may not being taken.

Not necessarily a scam but it was a transaction conducted under false pretenses of the account training being conducted by a single person when there is reason to believe that is not the case. You’ll notice in the images that ‘Dalbert’ states it is a one face service and he says he will train the account after the WT training was done in masses rather than solos. You’ll notice that he uses the term ‘they’ and ‘rotate’ implying that multiple workers rotate on the account. When asked for an update there was always a significant lag, and the update was in Spanish, leading me to believe the work was outsourced for quests.


Account was banned for RWT. Nothing in the TOS states anything about bans being the responsibility of the owner or that they are not liable.


Requesting refund of $674.46 and some compensation for losing my group Ironman, which was in the top 100 teams.

I would also like to add the following as an example of Dalbert being ‘sketchy’:

Not a scam report per-se but poor practises and very suspicious.

Can confirm that all progress pictures in my end did not even show RL logo and took a long time to get.

 

Adding this as an update - it looks like there is a clause on ban liability on paragraph 9 of their TOS, but I missed it as it starts out talking about providing resource. It is just odd that something so important isn’t it’s own clause.

Still think there are issues with the service and the operations of not being honest with the amount of workers on accounts.

It's an unfortunate situation for the both of us. But these type of stuff happens at a daily basis which we can't be held responsible hence to why it's on our paragraph 9 of our T.O.S, which you agreed to by reacting to the reaction which unlocks the Discord Server for you.

On top of that, I have a picture that you might be interested of reading.

Which is probably the reason as to your ban which has nothing with my worker to do with. So taking assumptions is not a probable cause.

What I can offer is that I refund you what's left of the service.

 

When I meant stuff happens at a daily basis wasn't referred directly onto my services. It could be without using services in general, or with other service providers.

 

I would argue that having multiple people working on the account puts it in greater risk than if one person worked on the account.

With reference to the image, account services were paid via BTC so there was no linking to my alt or any other account so my assumption would be that IPs being flagged caused this issue.

The mentions of it being a single face service with one worker gives a false sense of security and is relatively disingenuous to state if that’s not what is happening.

 

There hasnt been multiple people on your account
Just because it has been referred as "they" instead of saying him or her, does not mean theres been multiple people.
It can be used to avoid saying the persons gender.

If IP being flagged is the cause then all my accounts including mules would be banned already which hasn't occured. All my accounts remain unbanned.

 

RWT bans are being dished out for any bans relating to services.
The screenshot above mentions that gold was sold to the black market, but originally banned for buying services.
And just to add, you logged onto the account with our approval at own risk. Which made the IP shuffle between you and the worker.




Also, it was your suggestion to have more than one worker on the account though wasn't used, but still you blame us for it...?

 

100%, I requested to do daily farm runs, there’s no denying that.

With regards to additional workers it was a recommendation, absolutely, that was ultimately denied. To say one person worked on my account though is quite silly. Dalbert directly worked on my account and he had his worker who is referred to by the non-gender specific pronoun ‘they’ work on it.

My question is what did Dalbert mean when asked about MTA speed and he said “dw they rotate”. If it is one person working, what are they rotating?

Given previous history of Dalbert, as indicated in this thread, it would lead me to believe he further outsourced work.

 

By the form of "rotate" doesn't mean that they are shuffling between workers. It's meant that the worker are rotating the work, going from one thing to another then continuing the other thing before finishing. As in doing 25% of MTA, then not needing to be AFK which made them go back to questing, then when needing to semi-afk, went back to MTA.

Is there no consideration for work being outsourced further from the person I was working with and potential for multiple workers?

I am still hung up on the ‘they rotate’ part because they originally stated that the single worker rotates skills and that’s why the term rotate was used but when called out and shown progress pictures of the account stats it shows that no quests or other skills were completed during the MTA grind they back tracked a bit on what they said.

Additionally, is there no issue with minimal progress pictures being sent and those that are sent have no banner (RuneLite) shown? Mind you that originally their FAQ stated that order progress would be sent in a private discord showing levels and this was recently removed.

 

Would first off appreciate if you stopped taking assumptions. We’ve cleared the rotate part for you and at this point, you’re just trying to manipulate even though me and my worker has cleared it with you.

I’ve sent you an offer for what’s remaining and how much the refund is over on discord.

 

Not trying to manipulate anything but it is generally concerning and I would imagine that others would find it as well. Honestly, if I could be provided screenshots of the progress showing the RL logo I would let you keep the $80 of work not completed.
