Mur - concerns with accounts he's selling

Which violation you are reporting the user for: Not a specific rule, just think it's worth looking into especially with the new report in RaS - definitely a concern with the sheer number of 'recoveries'/etc that I was exposed to while middlemanning

At the beginning of this month I was middlemanning for two users (@mur & MomsCreditCard) - in the middle of this deal while MomsCreditCard was checking the account out & securing it he noticed there were quite a bit of password reset request/auth disable requests/etc (on top of this the RSN is different on all of these occasions). I spoke to Zora about it at the time which it was advised it was not really TWC worthy on it's own (may be now with the RaS being brought up -- or at least looked into further) so I was quite busy and unable to post this up right away. While seeing the report a scammer thread I'd figure it would be beneficial to not leave this from the public/get some additional input on this.

I edited a little of the names not to leak this but you can see that they are all different & even shows the dates of how frequent this was


When asked about it by the person buying the account (MomsCreditCard) here was the response:


Rest of the convo is basically Domce (MomsCreditCard) explaining that he's not comfortable & I proceeded to refund the user as both agreed to cancel the deal. I unfortunately did not get a real response from Mur/Sandshrew as to why there was this many things beyond just him advising he forgot the password. There was no response/mention to me stating that you need the password to login to disable the auth (I'm not really sure if this is true or not but I believe you need the password to disable the auth or at least to send the request how it shows up in the email in the photo).

This might be the same account in question - I am unsure - but wanted to place this out there to shed some light on this. Nothing against @mur it's just a boat load of password changes/auth requests/changing of RSNs in a short timeframe.

 

Also wanted to point out that I am not weighing on any side in the report a scammer thread (as there is really not any evidence/etc in place just yet it seems) - this is just to place this for additional input from Mur/mods to use as well.

 

There's 5 different names during this lack of use. Figured it would be beneficial to get some input on - again I am not suggesting anything.

 

Although I can see why this could be considered suspicious and sketchy, no rules are being broken here. I will close this report but will not remove any info from it, as a future customer may want to know this.
