Explanation of the trade / how they scammed: Sold them a gear swapping, single key spell (barrage in this case), and overheads AHK for single key gear swapping. Within two days Itchicak has made his own AHK service selling these exact same products. My ToS states:

1) Payment is taken upfront either via OSRS Gp or Crypto
2) Full refunds are offered if I cannot figure out why a script you purchased is not working properly right after purchase
3) No refunds after the script is purchased unless rule number 2 applies
4) Adjusting scripts to new coordinates/displays/computers is not free and I will charge a fee to do so. (50%)
5) I am not liable for any Bans, Mutes, or other Offenses incurred by the use of AHKs
6) My AHKS will not be resold or redistributed. Any code that I give you is mine and mine alone and is not to be given to others. It will also not be edited or used a template in scripts to re-sell.

which he agreed to by opening a ticket. He states that his friend actually allowed him to use theirs, but lacks any form of proof to back this up. I believe he used my code as a template to then edit and make adjustments in attempts to differentiate his code from mine (as this "service" of his sprung up within the days following the original sale)

Happy to share screenshots / screenshare of discord conversation with him critiquing the script i sold him (meaning he intentionally de-compiled it to edit/see from its base file which violated my ToS of rule 6)

 

Happy to share with a Sythe staff member the coding that I use. Which will easily prove that it is not his. Stating that "adjustments" are made to differentiate coding is something that shouldn't be said. Just about every script made follows the same baseline for simplicity. I will take a strike for decompiling if staff wishes. But, I wont be told what I can and cannot do with money that I have spent.

 

@ichicak But you have already admitting to breaking ToS once (which is something you agreed to) so what is even the point of a ToS if if you have the attitude of "I am spending $$ on it anyways i can do what i want"

 

Beyond that, this is a marketplace that highly suggests (maybe even mandates?) ToS for situations like these to protect the buyer and seller. You knowingly broke the ToS due to your belief of 'my money my choice' yet pretty much every transactions has a ToS so whats stopping you from just knowingly breaking someone else's ToS for the exact same reason? It seems like you knowingly, and just admitted to, breaking my ToS and then de-compiling my code to then probably edit and resell just a day later. The next person you buy something from why not just have the same "fuck-it" attitude and just break their ToS and take yet another slap on the wrist because it still falls under your "my money my choice" speil from before.
