Searching for help: Cover Letter

I'm in desperate need of a cover letter. I'm unsure of how these work and are made. When I hear "Cover Letter" the context of it reminds me of a resume. I could be completely wrong as I've mentioned above. With that being said, I'm really trying to get a new job and what something that I will enjoy.

Typically speaking: Waking up, making coffee and enjoying my new job!

Not looking for anything specific, but staying away from fast food. I'm great with customer service, I love people watching and enjoy fixing a bad situation.

Just some info on cover letters - they’re supposed to add additional context to the cv or resume and should be unique to each job. It’s an opportunity to explain in a few more words why you want the job -and why you feel you fit their criteria.

I’ve also heard directly from hirers that a decent cover letter goes a long way in just showing that they’re willing to put a bit of extra effort into the application process.
