Appearantly he has two discords mentioned in his acc DZ#4444, DZ#0004, and when ive done the trade i literally just saw the DZ#4444, added him and finished the trade, it could be a play done by DZ making an alt DZ#4444 and having 2 discords so whenever someone buys of DZ#4444 his staff/him would be like its not us.

The morning of 5AM, this user Sir Dan#0001 with UID 781410111436357652 messaged my Discord server in regards of him being scammed, at the moment, I was asleep and when I woke up, one of my staff members, let me know that there was a typo on one of my various Sythe posts, stating that my Discord tag was DZ#4444 but always showing the UID of 205433497702105089. This person messaged me regarding being scammed 2b, which I had no idea of. After being explained the situation, this person got scammed by someone impersonating my Discord, DZ#4444. The tag was displayed on my post as an accident, as it was my Discord tag before Nitro ran out and changed it automatically. The tag has been edited and fixed now, and that is why we also include the UID to avoid situations like this.

We only deal through our Discord server or website live chat, for this exact same reasons. We show warnings all over our Discord saying "DO NOT PM". This person believes that because someone else scammed him 2b, our server is responsible for 2b.

We work hard every day to improve our server, our anti-fraud measures, and to try and maintain a healthy community. Users that get scammed and then blame the Discord server for it when the Discord and I, DZ#0004 with UID 205433497702105089 have nothing to do with this problem.

I can not offer you anything in return for being scammed apart from my condolences, as it is something that is far out of our reach. We have notified our server about the impersonator, will be double-checking our Discord tags and UID, and will put even more messages to Never PM a staff member.

Please, always, for you, for me, and for the rest of the community. ALWAYS double check UID before trading and specially in big amounts. You could have come into our server, which the link is advertised everywhere, and asked or checked before dealing with an impersonator, which does not even have my Profile Picture or anything else to look legit..

Thank you and as I said in my silly messages, I am sorry for your loss, I can't do anything about it as its out of my reach and did not happen in our server, and any Sythe mods/admins are welcome to reach out to me for more information, etc.

P.S. The only place where my Discord tag was outdated was on one single post, my profile and everywhere else contains my updated tag, DZ#0004 and my UID, for example, on every post I have on Sythe.

oh sounds pretty legit when u have a wrong discord name in ur thread and just changed it when i told you ive been scammed by the imposter(probably ur alt)

 

The tag was updated to avoid anybody else trying to contact the wrong person. As it was something that happened outside of our server or website, we do not take responsibility, if we would, everybody would claim that they got scammed and would want free gold or services. Like you quoted, I can only offer you my condolences for falling to an impersonator/scammer, I can not give you back something that was never in my hands in the first place. Please do not use offensive language, I understand that you are mad or emotional, but calling me "braindead" and other accusations just show what type of person you really are. I also noticed you have a Do Not Trade on your account and find it hard to believe your story or your GIF, nowadays it is very common for people to fake being victims of scam to receive something in exchange, I have had to deal with these kinds of people before and are just a pain.

Please let a Sythe moderator investigate this, thank you.

I would also like to state, if you checked my Sythe profile, checked my signature, checked the Discord server, you would not have fallen for an impersonator, as the only place I had the wrong tag was in 1 thread, 1 post. The post was edited because clearly, the Discord tag was wrong and my Discord tag is DZ#0004.

I am not stating anybody is at fault, just be more careful before engaging in big trades and do not accuse me of anything I did not do, your report is fine, your language and accusations are not.

On behalf of the Dndgold team, I have recently spoken to Sir Dan#0001 through discord. He explained the whole situation as is portrayed above. As I mentioned to him, we always suggest to check UID for any transaction wether it be with us or with anyone else.

Sir Dan#0001 is a first time buyer, with no previous purchase history and having a 2b order as a first one is not something that is seen everyday. I do feel sorry for the loss, but this loss does not implicate anyone from DndGold as being part of the transaction.

As mentioned to him, blackmailing us to return his 2b / the equivalent in crypto is not the solution to the problem. We have a clean track record of legit transactions and we do not tolerate scams in any level.

Further looking upon the reporter’s profile, I see that he has been reported before for scamming and not being a trustworthy person overall.

I feel this is another of this user’s attempt to scam or might be he has the worst luck in the world but I can’t explain how he would buy 2b without double checking anywhere? We move big amounts daily and we check UIDs every time we buy and sell gold.

This reply is to further elaborate on Sir Dan’s story that every time I look it over it seems the phishy one here is him. I’ve dealt with these kinds of users before and sadly it is what makes a community toxic and is trying to ruin the reputation of our server for his own self gain.

- Add the discord of the legit seller that have it in his thread
- Pm him and buy the gold

and thats what i did copy pasted his discord name of the thread which was DZ#4444 and after i got scammed by his alt or an 'imposter' he changed it to the right discord, proof listed in the report showing it was DZ#4444

This all could have been avoided had you requested a Sythe PM @Runescape GoldP. He also had his UID listed on his profile and in his signature. You are DNT though, so you shouldn't even be trading on Sythe. This is a 1-week ban.

However, due to @dndgold's negligence in updating his thread, someone was scammed. I will be issuing @dndgold a TWC he can dispute in 30 days. Make sure you update any change to your contact info everywhere immediately so this doesn't happen again.

Nonetheless, I am sorry for your loss @Runescape GoldP. Always request a Sythe PM (when you are not DNT'd of course).
